Description
We are a group of individual small-scale farmers who collaborate and support one another regularly. We aim to adopt eco-friendly farming practices as much as possible. We each have our own thinking and approach to sustainable agriculture, but with a common goal to be kinder to the environment. No chemical products are used on our farms. Our produce includes rice, taro, water bamboo shoots, vegetables, pomelos etc.We are willing to share our experiences with you. If you want to experience the life of farmer, welcome to join us.

You will meet various farmers with different backgrounds, experiences and lifestyles; learn day to day operations of farming; and of course practise Mandarin!

Help
Planting, weeding, pests control, orchard maintenance, harvesting and rice milling etc. Anything involved in growing, harvesting, processing. Most time we work in the morning ,so you have the whole afternoon to visit this beautiful county.

Accommodation
Volunteer will stay with one of our farmers, Nick who has two kids.There is a personal room with bathroom for volunteers. 3 Meals will be provided on workdays. You may also use the kitchen to cook for yourself.

What else ...
We are located in the town of Yuanshan in Yilan county. It is a peaceful countryside.
During your day offs, feel free to take the bicycle or public transport to explore Yilan's attractions. Nearby is the Kavalan Distillery, Artemis Garden and numerous walking trails.
Or if you'd like to venture further by bus or train, you can visit the famous Taiping mountain, Luodong night market, Su'Ao cold springs, Jiaoxi hot springs etc.
