A group of adorable puppies, mostly golden brown with a couple of black ones, sit together on a raised bed outside, enjoying the sunny day.
This cozy living room features wooden beams, stone fireplace, rustic decor, leather sofas, and three dogs lounging comfortably. Natural light, framed pictures, and homey warmth fill the space.
A small brown and white pony stands in a field of daisies under a partly cloudy sky, with wooden fencing and trees in the background.
A basset hound sits on green grass, looking up with big, expressive eyes. Its tongue is curled, licking its nose, and ears hang down.
A large black horse leans out from a stable door, curiously observing a small brown pony with a shaggy mane standing on the concrete path outside.

    Description

Hi Im Gemma , I live in rural west cork with my teenage son. I have a small plot 5 acres for my horses and dogs. Need help with the animals, daily yard duties , house and garden maintenance that i cant do myself. Our lovely rural home place is nestled in the countryside, up in the hills of west cork, we are 40mins by car to Killarney, : steeped in irish heritage and culture, and 50 mins from cork city, so very well located as a base for exploring.
Live music and culinary excellence is what this area is famous for, and there are many events throughout the year, including the macroom food festival, and ballydehob jazz festival. If walking is your thing, there are many nature trails and places of interest nearby. We are also only 40 minutes from Bantry Bay, if you wanted to go to the coast.

We are in the Irish speaking community, im British myself, but a good opportunity to visit rural ireland. The village if vallingeary is 3.5 miles away, and their first language is Irish, in fact we are situated in the Gaeltacht, with many opportunities to immerse yourself in the language. There is usually somebody at home here, so you would have company helping alongside myself or my partner, Dominic.

So, finding it all too much to do on my own. Help with looking after the dogs, we have lots, and the horses, we have 4, which are my hobby, garden and field maintenance, polytunnel needs to be put into action again, for the house, general house maintenance that i cant do myself. A handy man basically, or woman. This is help on our little homestead, and not a business.
