Description
This is a place for gathering, healing, growth, celebration and regeneration. Starting with the land, we are implementing ecological design to enrich the soil and create a healthy ecosystem that gives back with a variety of edible local and tropical fruits, veggies, and medicinal plants. Our landscape includes a flourishing food forest, a mini food forest, an orchard, and wild land.
Our family of 4 is multilingual and multicultural. English is the main language, but French, Dutch and some Portuguese are also commonly spoken. We are social entrepreneurs who have lived and worked in all continents. Our focus has been working with small-scale farmers and NGOs in the global south, ethically sourcing ingredients and making organic/biodynamic/regenerative products available to as many people as possible.

We are a few minutes from the ocean, but in a rural area of the Algarve. The Portuguese villages, neighbors, businesses and local workers offer multiple opportunities to connect with the locals and learn the language.
Visitors staying over with us come from all over the world, so you will be able to share travel and life stories and learn from people from all four corners of the world.

Help
Ecological design takes passion and time! You will learn and implement permaculture methods, care for the trees and for the land. Maintenance projects around the property also pop up regularly.
Most importantly, and even though this is already a mature project, our place is a work in progress and there are always things to do around the house!…

Accommodation
You’ll be staying in a private, independent studio equipped with a kitchenette, bathroom, and outdoor space. You will have access to the amenities, including pool, dart game, pétanque, ping pong and more….
We also have a couple of nice RV spots in our food forest. We’ll make sure you have a comfortable setup with proper hookups. As van life enthusiasts ourselves, hitting the road in our bus, or taking it for a surf, is a big part of our lifestyle!
We also provide a weekly food allowance.
What else ...
We are equipped with blasting fast Starlink Internet and mesh access points throughout, so remote workers / digital nomads love working from our green paradise. And so can you!
Need some action? Kiting, surfing and stand-up paddling are less than 20 minutes away..
We are 10 minutes from Olhao and the beautiful beaches and iconic islands of the Ria Formosa National Park. We are also less than 30 minutes from Spain and 20 minutes from the towns of Tavira, Faro and Loulé.
Note that on the flip side of being immersed in nature, we are 2.5km from the nearest town of Moncarapacho, so having a car is essential.
