Description
Hi my name is Mahesh. The hostel is located in weligama 5 min walk from surf part of the beach. There are 3 dorm rooms and 2 private rooms in the hostel.
I would like to have travelers with different ideas to help with this hostel to improve. We have lot of activities and events in the hostel. We need help with organize events, social help in the hostel, daily tasks . The hostel is in Weligama, Sri Lanka, an area which is famous for beginner surfers and surf lessons.

I absolutely loved my time at wake up! Mahesh is so caring and funny and his warm and relaxed energy is reflected in the hostel. the work was minimal so there was lots of free time to enjoy the sun and surf. The perfect first work away experience.

I LOVED this Workaway! Mahesh is an amazing person and very funny. It was a pleasure to volunteer with him. The hostel is very nice and I made a lot of friends there these three weeks. I shared a lot of time there between the evenings where we made meals and those where we went out to party. Can't wait to go back!

Mahesh is such a good guy, so friendly, one of the nicest people ive met here. Bedroom and bed was super comfortable, fans were nice. I just accidentally letting the dog out! Apart from that great stay.

Mahesh is such an awesome guy! His two dogs (Browny and Blacky) are the cutest and so loving, it was hard to say goodbye! We had a great time cooking all together, and the nearby beach is great to practice surfing for beginners. We mainly helped painting and cleaning up a bit, can't wait for it to be finished up and crowded with guests!
