Hi we’re Anh and Ruby!

We love to travel and experience new cultures and environments.

Last year Anh volunteered doing workaways in Sri Lanka and Portugal, ranging from hostel work, art projects and house / cat sitting.

Ruby is new to Workaway but spent 2023 travelling South Korea and doing art residencies in Japan whilst teaching herself Japanese.

Here's a little bit about us and why we love to travel so much.

We love out door activities and being by the sea. Surfing is one of Anh’s favourite things to do however due to where we are based at home we very rarely get to go. We both try to practice yoga and as much as possible and Anh has completed a teacher training course in hatha. Living a healthy and sustainable lifestyle and spending time in nature is important to us both.

We both love to create. Ruby has a degree in Animation but most of her art practice these days is based in painting. Anh crochets and paints but also loves being creative with food and learning more about cooking and the different cuisines from countries and cultures all over the world.

Learning new skills, whilst working with interesting people towards a positive and productive goal is what we strive for. One of the things we would like to work towards is waste reduction and sustainable living.

At school I mentored younger students in maths. I was a volunteer at a charity for children with mental disabilities, where i would organise activities and care for the children.
