I’m Dr. Nalaka, a medical doctor and a nature lover.
Together with my family, we run a small family-owned ecoFriendly-hospitality business that we started in 2019.
Our retreat is located on the banks of the beautiful Lake Weerawila, in the peaceful village of Tissamaharama, in the Southern Province of Sri Lanka.
its lies inside the Wirawila Wildlife Sanctuary. Right in front of the hotel stretches a peaceful marshland — a haven for endemic and migratory birds. You can often watch these beautiful birds landing on the wetlands for their meals,
We have five eco-friendly cabanas with ten cozy rooms,
all designed to blend harmoniously with nature.
We have five eco-friendly cabanas with ten rooms, each designed by a chartered architect who blended modern and traditional Sri Lankan styles. Every cabana has been carefully built using eco-friendly and recyclable materials, in line with the Green Building Council of Sri Lanka standards
This is a family-run business. My Father, Mother, and Sister are working there instead of There are 2 outside workers who work with us.
you can enjoy the tranquil view of the lake, the gentle sounds of birds, and the calm rhythm of rural life. Our location is also very close to the world-famous Yala National Park, home to elephants, leopards, and countless species of birds — making it a perfect destination for nature and wildlife lovers.
The main goal of our project is to offer our guests a genuine Sri Lankan natural and cultural experience. We understand that most of our visitors come from busy cities and stressful environments, so we provide a peaceful and natural setting where the mind and body can truly relax.
