We are an intercultural and interracial couple. My Girlfriend is an Afro-Colombian from the cost and I am a retire Swiss.
We are located in the heart of the coffee region “Eje Cafetera. Our pueblo “Marsella Risaralda” is one of the most beautiful traditional coffee villages of Colombia. Our Finca is a traditional coffee farm with 50’000 coffee trees on 10 cuadras (70’000m2). It climbs from 1400 meters above sea level 100 meter higher up to 1500 meters above sea level. Now we are converting it in a more natural place with lots of fruit trees, native plants, large completely natural spaces where one can watch birds and other animals, hiking trails, a camping next to a bamboo-forest.

Not only can one get to know the Colombian coffee culture, but can also carry out a wide variety of creative work depending on one skills and interests.
Colombia has just little local culture to offer, since in general the population does not cultivate its traditions very much. But the Colombians' share abundantly their virulent zest for life and their cordial openness with you. One is treated everywhere immediately like a friend or a family member.
Build walking paths, design and execute gymnastics and play equipment from wood and bamboo, make decorations, plant cultivate and catalogue flowers, trees, shrubs and organic vegetables.

Food will be provided. We cook every day and we have lots of fruit here.
The village is 2km from our Finca. There is no frequent public transport.
From the village go buses every 20 minutes to the City Pereira.
