Description
We’re a couple living in a quiet rural village 70 km south of Sofia, surrounded by nature, hiking trails, and mineral springs. Our home is peaceful, shared with our two stray dogs and three rescue cats. We live simple and intentional life — vegetarian/pescatarian meals, homemade sourdough, light yoga, and full-body movement are part of our daily rhythm. You’re welcome to share your favorite recipes and help in the kitchen. We avoid alcohol and drugs and ask our guests to do the same while staying with us. Cigarettes are allowed outdoors. We don’t have a Wi-Fi router at home, but mobile coverage is good in the area. Roaming works well for most visitors, and we can also share our mobile hotspot (unlimited data) if needed.
Both of us are engaged with mental and emotional help and we want to create workshops and hold spaces for deep work. That is why we moved close to Nature. We build our gardens in a permaculture way. We create our home with the idea of sustainability and earth care. For example, we do not use flush toilet. Our place is located deep in the mountains in an area that is absolutely free from industrialpollution.
We’re currently looking for help with small improvements and garden projects. Planting trees around the village. Building BNB's(Bug and Bird hotels). Our place is equipped with basic household amenities, and we can host you in a room, a tent (we provide gear) or there’s space for a camper van under our yard.
We’re also active in youth work and run an NGO focused on creative workshops like trash art and intuitive painting, often at festivals around Bulgaria. We’re in the process of developing Erasmus+ and ESC projects and would love to connect with open-minded, respectful people who enjoy nature, animals, and creative collaboration.
If you’re looking to unplug, ground yourself in nature, and enjoy simple living with warm meals, animals, and meaningful work — you’ll feel right at home here. Our home is a space for exchange, not just work — so we hope you leave feeling nourished, connected, and a little more rooted. We are very open minded towards people from different backgrounds as long as the respect towards our place is felt.

Visit the nearby hot mineral water springs a few times per month.
Join our creative workshops in local festivals.
Learn more about permaculture, trash art, traditional AND modern(but eco) building methods.
Learn more about living permanently in nature and the difficulties that we face(although we do not see them as difficulties), like no shop/market/cafe/bar/bank/mall nearby.
Learn about herbs and natural oils.
Help

Nasko is in the process of learning French, as he already has some level of understanding. He lived in France for 11 months.
Accommodation
You can choose to:
• Live in our room for guests
• Camp in our yard — we provide tents in different sizes, comfortable mattresses, sleeping bags, blankets, and pillows
• Park your camper van in front of the house or nearby
• In warmer months, we can also arrange shaded rest areas or cozy corners for reading and relaxing
There’s access to electricity, clean drinking water, an outdoor and indoor shower, and an indoor compost or dry toilet. The setup is simple but comfortable, and we do our best to maintain a clean, cozy, and respectful living space.
What else ...
• Kyustendil: Known for its hot mineral springs, Roman ruins, and art museums. You can visit the Hisarlaka fortress, soak in the thermal baths, or enjoy a walk in the city’s parks.
• Osogovo Mountain: A bit farther from Kyustendil, perfect for hiking, foraging, or snow activities in winter.
• Radomir: A quieter town, with nearby lakes and fields for walks, birdwatching, and peaceful nature time.
• Hiking & nature walks: Directly from our village, you can access local trails, forest paths, and panoramic views of the valley and mountains.
• Local springs and rivers: Great for cooling off in summer or just spending a quiet afternoon reading and relaxing outdoors.

Yoshi
This the king of the realm. He loves all the other dogs and cats. He’s the youngest but also the most elegant. Always ready to come to your lap and give you purrrrs. Also taking his time alone sometimes. He enjoys outside and inside. He’s a hunter and he’s also super playful.
Nova
Super cute. Largest from all of the cats. Usually not at home. She comes to eat only and rarely stays inside.
Raven
The queen of the house. Very elegant, constantly open for treats and usually at home sleeping. She likes to be the one to come for hugs and purrrrrrrs.
Prefer not to share 2
She’s a stray dog as well. Younger and much more playful, clumsy and therefore - funny. She likes long walks and she likes to roam the forest.
Prefer not to share
Stray dog since birth, taken from the street. She’s very disciplined and relaxed but also very strong physically and can be very protective. Doesn’t bark most of the time.
