We can agree on speaking French or English or German during your stay. There are many historic places around such as Aurignac and the Gorges de la Save, for those who are interested in history and archaeology. By car, you can visit Saint Bertrand de Comminges (40min) and the higher Pyrénées (1 hour from here), with hiking tours going up to 3000m.Accommodation
3 possibilities: you can either sleep in our comfortable caravan, or in a room in the farmhouse if one is available, or in your own van or camping car.
The house is not completely renovated yet, but comfortable to live in. It has electricity, heating, high-speed Internet and a modern bathroom.
Meals are cooked with regional products, from the garden, the local market or from biological farms around here. We do a mix of vegetarian and omnivorous cooking (we can adapt to only vegetarian for you). What else ...
There are NO shops and NO pubs in the village and there is NO public transport, so ideally you have your car with you to be independent. If you have no car and are compatible with a stay here, than we can take you with us when going somewhere.
Activities around: we can lend you a bike (not electric) for cycling in the soft hills around here. You can enjoy the place itself that is very relaxing and its nice surroundings. You can hike, climb and swim in the "Gorges de la Save" at 6km and discover the Pyrenean piedmont that is rather calm and restful. During clear weather, you can enjoy a beautiful view on the Pyrenées chain. Next towns are at a 15 min drive where you have bars, shops, etc.
We can only host helpers who have experience (with renovation of old houses and/or construction of wooden huts and/or gardening). Autonomous working skills are necessary, as we are busy all day.A little more information

I was there during the heat wave and I could go to the beautiful gorges de la save to cool down.
That's was a good life, eating outside at the evening and having some nice conversations.
The job is not too much demanding and there's a lot of different things to do.
