  • Description

We are a couple in our 50s/60s, we both have children and grandchildren who are busy with their own families. Our dog has had puppies, and we are going to keep one of them. So we will need someone who can help to train the puppy, and to look after the dogs, in particular when we need to go away on some weekdays.

Newcastle upon Tyne combines 2000 years of history with vibrant cultural and music activities - Dire Straits, Police and many other famous bands started here, Alnwick Castle is not far away. You will have the evenings and weekends and some other days available to explore the city and countryside.

  • Help

Our dog had puppies on 21st June, and she does not like to be home alone. My husband has a boat and likes to go sailing when the weather is good (can be most of the summer). So it would be really useful to have someone who can to help to exercise and train the puppy that we will be keeping. We need help to puppy-sit for 2-3 hours at a time on days when I go to work, 2 or 3 days per week during most of September, and to help look after the dogs (shared with the neighbour, who got another one of the puppies) when we go on holiday for one week in the second half of September. A helping hand to keep the house and garden tidy would also be welcome.
We have another workawayer puppysitter arranged, who will stay until 25th August. So we are looking for someone to help us after this time, until the end of September or maybe longer.

The house is close to the main A1 motorway, 10 minutes drive from the airport and there are bus stops just across the road, so it is easy to get around irrespectively on how you are travelling.
