They were also always in communication with me and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay.
Spending my days with Jake in such a peaceful town was such a relaxing and wholesome experience. Jake has such a unique personality, and spending time with him comes with constant laughter because of all the funny little surprises he keeps showing you, from moments on our walks together to his reactions when the mail arrives, and all the little quirks you discover as you get to know him more.
Peaceful days, lots of dog time, and two hosts who made me feel incredibly welcome. I couldn’t have asked for a lovelier experience, and I’m so grateful to Malena and Graham for trusting me with Jake and making me feel so at home. ❤️

Lorenza is exactly what we would describe as the perfect Workaway guest. She took care of our dog, Jake, with so much love and treated him as if he were her own. Jake is a nervous dog and takes time to build trust, but Lorenza was incredibly patient and made such an effort with him.
She stayed in our home twice over the summer while we were away… read more and left not only her room but the entire house in immaculate condition. She was respectful, thoughtful, and a pleasure to host.
We would welcome her back anytime and can't recommend her highly enough. Thank you, Lorenza!
P.S. After she left, Jake kept going into the guest room looking for her and seemed genuinely sad that she was gone, which says everything about the bond they built 💗.

Our experience at Malena’s home has been one of our favorite ones, so good to be true!! The family has a lovely vibe, so easy going, calm and joyful. Malena received us with a delicious Mexican dinner 😋 and were flexible since we had to work online.
The family provided us with food during our stay, which we appreciated a lot, and recommended us… read more nice places to visit around the town, Merstham is so beautiful and really good located, you can walk from the train station 10-15 min, there are restaurants, supermarkets, etc.
We spend a nice week looking after Jake and Kanga while the family was away. Both lovely dogs who enjoyed walks but over all being with you at all moment and give you all their affection 💗 Jake was so funny just doing his Cokapoo things 😂 we’re missing them!

Staying at Malena and Graham’s home was a truly rewarding experience. The house is very cozy and located in a quiet neighborhood where I felt at home from the very first day. They were always kind and attentive, replying quickly to any questions and making sure I had everything I needed.
As for Jake and Kanga — honestly, I couldn’t have asked for… read more better company! They’re both such friendly, calm dogs and always excited for a good walk. I already miss their energy and affection.

Bruno looked after our two dogs while we were away on holiday, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He cared for them with such attention and kindness, and even administered medication to one of them several times a day with complete reliability.
Both dogs took an instant liking to Bruno, and it was clear they felt comfortable and… read more happy in his presence. Having him stay in our home gave us great peace of mind, knowing they were in their familiar environment and in such capable hands.
Bruno kept in touch regularly, sending us updates and photos, which was incredibly reassuring. He left the house in great condition—and even baked us a delicious Brazilian cake as a welcome-home treat!
We would have Bruno back anytime—and so would our dogs!
