Description

Hello, we are Zaki and Sarah, two University students from the south of Sweden. We have taken a year off from studies to pursue our dream of backpacking through Europe.

During our travels we plan to work/help as Workaways. There are two main reasons for this. Firstly, we are both environmentally conscious people and are very inspired to be part of some of the amazing projects that people are working on to create a more sustainable and beautiful world to live in. Secondly, is the people themselves. As Workaways we will have the possibility to meet and know people from different cultures and places in Europe and that is a wonderful thing.

Some of our interests are hiking, being in nature, everything to do with water (surfing, rafting, swimming etc.), reading and cooking.

We are both reasonably handy having rebuilt our van and our kitchen at home. I, zaki have worked as a Workaway earlier and then I helped a lot with garden work, animal care, cooking and general housekeeping. Sarah, studied animal biology and maintenance and has a passion for helping things thrive and grow. Whether that be animals or plants.
I would say that our biggest assets are that we are happy helpers who are eager to learn new things and will help however we can.

We don’t have any specific things we hope to learn. In general we enjoy learning new things and being around good people in beautiful places.

What else ...

Two hobbies/interests that weren’t mentioned in our general description are the fact that we absolutely LOVE games of all kinds. As of right now while living on-the-move we have been playing mainly Chess, yatzy and tvåmans visst (A Swedish game). We also love all things creative. Drawing, painting, building you name it. We might not be masters in any of these things but we thoroughly enjoy them.
