Description
Hi! We’re a French–American family of four living in Uzerche, in the beautiful Corrèze region of France. We have two young children: Basil (2½ years old) and Aurèle (4 months).
After spending the past ten years working in humanitarian aid abroad, we recently decided to settle down and embrace a quieter life. That said, we truly miss the international energy and cultural exchanges that have always been part of who we are ; and we’d love our children to grow up with that same openness and curiosity about the world.
If you stay with us, you’ll be hosted in our guest room and mainly help with childcare. We’re looking forward to welcoming someone who enjoys spending time with young children and sharing everyday life with a family.

We’re happy to share our love for the region through hiking and sightseeing, as well as French cooking and language practice. In return, we’re genuinely eager to learn about your culture (Chloé is an intercultural consultant and always curious to discover new perspectives). We also hope our children will have more opportunities to practice English, as their dad is currently the only one speaking English with them.

Accommodation
We offer a spacious, comfortable guest room, as well as a shower that will be for your exclusive use (we have a shower in our bedroom, and our children bathe in our bathroom). The toilet, however, is shared.

Uzerche is a small town with strong touristic appeal, especially in spring and summer. From Uzerche, several larger towns are accessible by train or bus, although a car is unfortunately necessary for many trips.
