Description
We’re a family of five living on a small, peaceful private homestead not far from Kraków — close enough for a city trip, but far enough to enjoy the quiet beauty of the countryside. Our home is surrounded by meadows, valleys, and a nearby national park, offering plenty of fresh air, scenic walks, and a deep connection with nature.
Our farm is home to goats, chickens, ducks, rabbits, cats, and dogs — and us! We also try to grow our own vegetables, manage our livestock, maintain an orchard, make dairy products for ourselves and always have some outdoor projects on the go. From animal care and gardening to general maintenance and seasonal tasks, there's always something to do and learn.
We love sharing our way of life and meeting new people from around the world. If you enjoy nature, animals, and being outdoors — and don’t mind getting your hands a bit dirty — you’ll feel right at home here.Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Staying with us is a chance to experience everyday life on a small Polish family farm — close to nature, full of hands-on work, and speak in Dutch, English and Polish.
You’ll learn about seasonal farm tasks, animal care, and traditional food preparation like goat milking and homemade cheese making. We’re happy to share our way of life, local customs, and Polish home cooking (and we’d love to try recipes from your country too!).
Our area is also rich in natural beauty and history. We’re not far from Kraków — a city full of culture and heritage — and we’re surrounded by peaceful valleys and a national park, perfect for hiking or relaxing in nature.
We enjoy working hard, good conversation, sharing stories, and learning from each other.Projects involving children

Help
The tasks vary with the seasons, but there’s always something to do outdoors! Depending on the time of year, we might need help with:
Gardening (planting, weeding, harvesting)
Cutting grass and clearing paths
Help cleaning animal stables
Moving and feeding animals
General help around the farm
In autumn 2025, we’ll be focusing on fencing work, so any help with that will be especially appreciated.
If you're interested, there's also the opportunity to help with milking goats and learning about cheese making — a great hands-on experience with farm life!
No special experience is needed — just a willingness to help, enjoy nature, and work as part of a team.Languages spoken

Accommodation depends on the time of year and how many people are staying with us. You may have a room in our family house, or in warmer months, we might offer a more outdoor-style setup, such as a tent.
We provide meals, and you’ll eat together with us, sharing whatever we’re having that day — home-cooked, seasonal food, often from our own garden or farm. What else ...
