We are a german-portuguese family living with our two kids Tilda and Ivo at a wonderful place close to Porto.
Bártolo is an architect and Annelie is a fashion designer and we quit Germany some month ago to dive into the new adventure here creating our own project.
With plenties of ideas in our minds we would love to make projects and workshops happen in the future related to craftsmanship, food and body, mind and nature.
We are planning a permaculture project on our land and any help and knowledge on that field would be very interesting and helpful for us.
Babysitting / child care
Cooking / shopping
Help in the house
As we are about to build of project there is still plenty of space for new ideas and exchange.
We are open-minded and curious to hear other peoples opinions.
With us you can practice your German and Portuguese but we speak French and English as well.
We love to share and to have food together and to spend the evening with some wine around good conversations.
We would be especially happy meet people that would like to spend good time with our lovely two kids. To play with them, do some crafts and things outside.
And then there is plenty of stuff to do in the garden, that we would like to be a permaculture / forest garden in the future. A new water system needs to be planned and set up. There is always something to do for our animals (sheeps, goats, gooses, chicken, ducks, cats). The vegetable garden needs to find its place and could start running.
Also there is a lot of construction work to do around the house and the barns.
Everybody who wants to is invited to cook while cleaning the kitchen is a job for the whole team.
Portuguese, German, French, English
We have lots of space and nice rooms in our house. You will have your privat room. Probably the bathroom will be shared (depending on how the construction in the house is advancing).
Our charming traditional countryside house is some ways simple. So we heat the kitchen in the winter with wood. But we also do have some gas heaters for the rooms.
We live in a typical Portuguese village 15 minutes from the sea and 30 minutes from the center of Porto. There is public transport you can use to discover the area and to go to the beach, to Porto or Vila do Conde.
