Description
Hi! I’m Yuling from Taiwan. I moved to Thailand about 10 years ago, and Bangkok is now my second home.
I used to work in the travel-tech industry, leading localization teams and building automation to reduce repetitive work, so people could focus on more meaningful things. About five years ago, I decided to step away from that pace to slow down, reconnect with everyday life, and fix long-term sleep issues.
Now, I enjoy cooking, gardening whenever I can, and finding meaningful ways to connect with local communities.
One day, I hope to open a small guesthouse filled with good meals, greenery, handmade details, and relaxed vibes. To prepare for that dream, I’m currently seeking volunteer opportunities to get inspired and exchange knowledge and skills.
I’ve helped at guesthouses in Japan with cooking, cleaning, gardening, and daily routines — basically whatever helps create a warm, comfortable home.
I’m independent, easygoing, and enjoy contributing through simple, practical support. I love creating calm, welcoming spaces through food, plants, and shared daily life. I also self-study flower arranging, enjoy all kinds of crafts and hands-on making, and love being outdoors.
I’m especially interested in projects related to cooking, hospitality, nature, or community life.
If your place values good energy and good food, I’d be happy to be part of it.

What else ...
When I travel, I naturally gravitate toward fresh markets, local markets, flea markets, and antique shops — places that feel lived-in and full of character. I enjoy quietly observing and capturing small moments through photography.
I practice Ashtanga yoga and, although I’m still a beginner, I’ve found it very supportive for both body and mind. I also enjoy hiking and spending time in nature, which helps me stay grounded and connected.
I use social media lightly and post only a few times a year. I prefer staying present and investing my time in real-life experiences, meaningful conversations, and genuine connections.

As a volunteer, she was incredibly involved, quick to learn, always ready to help, and not afraid of hard work. And she loves cooking, truly. Even when there was no need to cook, she was happily experimenting in the kitchen. Whoever hosts her next will be treated to amazing Asian dishes.
