  Description

  Artist painter in a quiet little place some 1h30-drive south of Paris, bordering a forest famous for its boulder rocks, I need my afternoons to work in peace. I am therefore looking for help 4 hours a day in the morning (or 3 hours morning + 1 hour evening), afternoons and weekends are free. The help requires more or less experience (see current list below), at least some knowledge of basic tools. CATS: two.

  Artiste peintre dans un petit coin tranquille du sud francilien, en bordure d'une forêt célèbre pour ses chaos rocheux, j'ai besoin de mes après-midis pour travailler dans le calme. Je recherche donc de l'aide 4 heures par jour le matin (ou 3h matin + 1h soir), après-midis et week-ends libres. Les travaux demandent plus ou moins d'expérience (voir liste actuelle plus bas), au minimum savoir manier quelques outils. CHATS : deux.

  For art lovers we can draw together (and I can give you some advice if you wish). I speak English fluently. Please note I am busy in the afternoons and time spent together will tend to be in the evenings or at the weekends.

  Pour les amateurs d'art on peut dessiner ensemble (et je peux vous donner quelques conseils si vous le souhaitez). Je parle anglais couramment. Attention je suis occupée les après-midis et le temps passé ensemble sera plutôt le soir ou le week-end.

  Help

  Several wooden gates need to be refreshed (sanding, varnishing); basic masonry (small stone/brick walls to erect in the garden); garden mowing, hedge trimming, cutting small trees (manual and/or electric tools); heavy tidying (logs, furniture, miscellaneous sorting); dismantling garden shed; occasionally cooking and/or cleaning. For those with more experience, soil preparation for future vegetable garden and pond, interior wall insulation (concrete block).

  Plusieurs portails en bois ont besoin d'être rafraichis (ponçage, vernis) ; un peu de maçonnerie (petits murets en pierre/brique à monter dans le jardin) ; tonte jardin, taille haies, coupe petits arbres (outils manuels et/ou électriques) ; gros rangement (bûches, meubles, tris divers) ; démontage abri jardin ; à l'occasion cuisine et/ou ménage. Pour ceux/celles qui en ont l'expérience, préparation sol pour futur potager et mare, isolation intérieure mur (parpaing).

  Accommodation

  We share the house with two cats, there is a single bedroom on the ground floor and a double upstairs (not available in winter). NB: there is no tv or wifi, internet access can be done via my phone's hotspot if you have no data. Except for the village bakery, a car is needed to go shopping in town (I go there about 2-3 times a week, sometimes some carshare is available).

  Nous partageons la maison avec deux chats, il y a une chambre simple au rez-de-chaussée ainsi qu'une double à l'étage (pas dispo en hiver). NB : ni tv ni wifi, l'accès internet peut se faire en partage de connexion avec mon téléphone si vous n'avez pas de data. Pour les magasins, hormis une boulangerie il faut aller en ville en voiture (j'y vais environ 2-3 fois par semaine, sinon il peut y avoir du covoiturage).

  What else ...

  If you have a car there is plenty to do in the surrounding area: discover some pretty villages, walks and bouldering in the forest, cultural or musical outings (depending on the time of year). Otherwise I can drive you into town (2-3 times a week) to take the train/bus, for a day out in Paris for instance. On occasion we can share an outing or activity together.

  Si vous avez une voiture il y a beaucoup à faire dans les environs : découvrir de jolis villages, des balades et du bouldering en forêt, des sorties culturelles ou musicales (selon les périodes de l'année). Sinon je peux vous conduire en ville (2-3 fois par semaine) pour prendre le train/bus, pour une journée à Paris par exemple. A l'occasion nous pouvons partager une sortie ou activité ensemble.
