    Description

    We live in PARADISE. Think crystal clear water, dolphins, palm trees and lots of sunshine. We have moved across the globe a lot, but now settled down in Mullumbimby. Our cute little country town is located in the Byron Shire 15min from beautiful beaches in Brunswick Heads and Byron Bay and close to the most amazing waterfalls up Koonyum range.
    Our little gypsy family of 5 loves to visit the beach for a surf, swim or fish. Our little ones are 5, 3 and 1 year old and love to play, paint, bike and make a LOT of mess. Nathan runs the local Wood Factory, selling wood and manufacturing wooden furniture.
    We have an 11 meter caravan with double bed for you live in and a bike to use to ride to town.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

    We are bilingual family. Veronique is from The Netherlands and speaks fluent Dutch, German and English. She loves to improve her Spanish, Italian and French and would love to learn Portuguese and Japanese. She loves children, her multicultural friends, all things colourful, cooking and cleaning her colourful house. Some things she would love to improve are her organisation skills around the house and she finds it hard to declutter. She would love some help with it.

    Nathan is from Australia and he is an amazing woodworker and hunter gatherer/fisherman. He can take you out spearfishing or kayaking and teaching you about the local wildlife.

    Our place really suits a couple. We need soft loving care for our kids and help for Veronique around the house and Nathan needs some help with carpentry jobs.

    We have listed it from soft to hard jobs, but any help is very appreciated:

    2. Help with the daily routine IN the house: cooking, cleaning, washing;
    3. Help OUTSIDE the house: gardening, mowing, whipper-snipping the grass:
    4. Paint cupboards in the house and tiny-house;
    5. Paint the kids bedroom colourful ;
    6. Paint the exterior of our house;
    7. Building a chicken-coop;
    8. Building a fence to get privacy from the road;
    9. Building an outdoor bathroom (shower and bathtub);
    10. Build a deck and roof over the caravan plus build a compost toilet;

    What else ...

    Moving around the Byron Shire is easiest with your own vehicle. If you don't have one, you can hire one privately from Nathan's brother.
    We have a bicycle for you to go to town, from there you can take the bus to Byron Bay or Brunswick Heads.
    Hitch-hiking is invented in this region, so definitely give that a go whilst you are here.
