Description
The farm is over looking the North Thompson River and with a spectacular view of Green and Baldy Mountain. We run the farm with the help of our three sons, not to mention the four grandchildren. We are looking for helpers that have lived on their own and are self motivated.
Please no vegetarians or Vegan's. We are a farm and also have a meat processing plant.
Farm days are busy. Breakfast is 7:30. Coffee break at 10:00 am
Lunch is served at noon.
Meat from the oldest son’s meat shop and fresh veggies from the garden or root cellar.
Tractor Work, haying, fencing, repairing machinery. Help with the animals...there is an endless supply of duties that keep the farm functioning.
Coffee break around 4:00 with fresh baking and homemade treats.
Would be great if you put in 5 days a week and took the week ends off. There are endless opportunities for outdoor activities around here. We are outdoorsy ourselves and like hiking, paddle boarding and 4x4ing. See our web site for attractions in our area, including Wells Gray Park, Sun Peaks resort and many lakes as well as the city of Kamloops with cultural activities and lovely little cafes.

Accommodation
There is a rustic log cabin for privacy or self contained apartment above the work shop. Two rooms in our home. We have hosted German students from the DKG Program for the past 12 years.
What else ...
To the north, Wells grey park is a hour away, with too many sights to mention. Sun peeks offers skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer.
Extra information:
The hostel in Vancouver on East Hastings is not a nice area. Homeless and drug addicts live in this area. That said, it is also close to some major Vancouver attractions. Best to avoid East Hastings street when possible.
Phones -- Be aware when purchases a phone from one of the many companies selling. That Telus is one of the only phones that works everywhere there is cell service. The other companies work in city locations best and rarely anywhere else.
Car Insurance. If you bring your driving record from home and it's a good driving record in English, you can save money on car insurance. The car companies do not rent to ages 25 years and younger. You can purchase a car and buy insurance to travel around.
Canada is a very large country with only ebus on major routes to get around if you have no car. The train is expensive and not practical unless this is how you want to see the country.A little more information
