    ============ Else ============
    Hello HUMAN

We are two very nice cats living in two beautiful 180m2 house in slovenia sharing it with our cute human pet.

If you are afraid of pets, don t worry. Our human is well educated, go to its own litter, brushing its hair at time or resting on the sofa. It is absolutely not dangerous and tend to be very quiet and cute. It loves you to go gently to her and pet him or slapping kindly his ass. Also it can be a bit crazy at times, always running around, playing, speaking a lot, searching for contacts and hugs.

Anyway, we would be really glad to accept you in our little cat paradise. To tell about us :
    - Calin just finished his Master Degree in Mouse Physics and makes also photo shooting as a Cat Model for a company.
    - Tania is a cat-yoga teacher, very sensible, actually in research of how to reconnect to our tribal cat roots, finding the TRUE MEOW and fusionning with the nature of Felidae.

So don t be afraid and just apply to us, we are waiting for you :)

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

🌿 Cultural Exchange & Social Life

Daily life is shared and simple. We cook and eat together, have conversations around the table, and often spend evenings talking, reading, or sharing creative work.

    Workawayers can connect with:
    • Artists staying at the residency
    • Local neighbors in the countryside
    • Other international volunteers
    • Small creative gatherings when organized

We sometimes bake bread, garden together, go for forest walks, swim in the nearby river, or explore the hills by bicycle. Life here is quiet but meaningful.

    🎨 What We Can Share

    We can share:

    • Insights about living in a creative environment
    • Experience in rural Slovenian life
    • Simple sustainable living practices
    • Gardening knowledge
    • Bread baking and shared cooking
    • Organizing small creative spaces

Workawayers interested in art, writing, photography, or documentation are especially welcome to exchange ideas and collaborate.

🌍 What We Hope to Learn

We enjoy meeting people from different cultures and perspectives. By hosting Workawayers, we hope to:

    • Discover new recipes and traditions
    • Hear new stories and languages
    • Exchange creative ideas
    • Build meaningful international connections

We believe that cultural exchange enriches both sides and keeps the residency alive and evolving.

We enjoy language exchange and cultural sharing we are always happy to learn new words and expressions from our guests. Many artists and volunteers come from different countries, so daily life often becomes a natural language exchange around the table during shared meals and conversations. If you would like to practice English or share your own language and culture, you are very welcome here.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

Workawayers will stay in a clean and comfortable shared room inside our countryside house. Bedding and basic necessities are provided.

We live in a simple rural environment, so the house is cozy but not luxurious. We ask everyone to respect shared spaces and help keep them clean.

We provide three shared meals per day. Cooking is often done together, and we value shared meals as an important part of daily life and cultural exchange.

If someone has specific dietary needs, we are happy to discuss this in advance.

🌿 Free Time & Local Area

During their time off, Workawayers can enjoy peaceful countryside life. The area around Vinica offers forests, hills, walking trails, and a nearby river for swimming in warmer months. It is ideal for reading, drawing, writing, photography, or simply resting in nature.

We have bicycles available for local exploration. Public transport is limited due to the rural location, so this place is best suited for people who enjoy quiet environments and nature rather than city life.

The nearest towns can be reached by car, and we can help with basic orientation when you arrive.

    🏡 House Atmosphere & Guidelines

We have a shared creative home, not a hotel. We value:

    • Respect for shared spaces
    • Cleanliness in kitchen and common areas
    • Open communication
    • A calm and supportive atmosphere

We usually wake up at a reasonable hour and enjoy quiet evenings. This is not a party house — it is a space for creativity, rest, and connection.

We expect everyone to be responsible, independent, and comfortable with simple countryside living.

    Can host digital nomads

We have stable Wi-Fi suitable for remote work, video calls, and creative online projects. The house is generally calm during the day, which makes it easy to focus. Because we live in a rural area, this place is best suited for digital nomads who enjoy quiet surroundings and nature rather than city life. Public transport is limited, so having your own vehicle can be helpful, but it’s not essential. We’re flexible with schedules when possible, so remote workers can organise their help hours around meetings or focused work time. Clear communication is always appreciated.

  • Space for parking camper vans

    Space for parking camper vans

We have space on the property where small campers or motorhomes can park. The setting is peaceful and surrounded by nature. Basic access to water and bathroom facilities can be discussed in advance. Please note that we are in the countryside, so facilities are simple rather than luxury. This setup is ideal for independent travellers who are comfortable with quiet rural living and respectful shared spaces.
