    Description

    Hello there :-)
My husband and I recently bought some hectars rural land here in Avram Ianco, to fulfill our lifedream. We want to create a place in nature for people and animals, to relax and get in touch with yourself. Fot that I am going to offer my qualities and educations, such as massaging in different types, meditations and spiritual medium healings teached by Birgit Fischer and Lia Lohmann.
In order for that to happen we need some help with gardening, building fences, houses and barns - or with other challenges we are facing.
We live a healthy lifestyle and offer to cook for our future workawayers (vegan if wanted). You will have your own caravan or A-house with a lot of privacy. Our place ist near a street on which only neighbors drive. The next big city is Arad, which can be reached by train or car, other than that Avram Ianco is a little town with a church and a little shop, so if you come here to enjoy nature and animals, you are at the right spot. So far we have 1 dog, 2 cats and 3 horses.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

My husband is from Austria and I am from Switzerland and lived in Germany for the last 10 years, so that is our cultural background. Activities we hope to experience together are eating/cooking together, go on walks, meet our local neighbors and buy things from them, going on weekly markets and talk about life and everything. We can teach you how to do ground work with horses and connect with them.

We need people who have skills with building things (we plan on finish our new houses with clay and wood) and have a little know-how in handcraft. One of our A-houses needs all of the intern tasks and the other only has a roof and first ground of wood). If not, we are happy to teach a little. Some help with the animals would be perfect as well. If someone knows how to build a vegetable-garden and plant everything in order for us to get self-sufficient, that would be amazing! (since my thumb is not green at all)
You should also be ok with (sometimes) making errands with us, go to the local water source to get water or drive to Arad to get things from the craft shop.
If interested I am happy to share some skills about meditating or spirituality.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

We can provide a caravan for one or two people and a not quite done A-house (like a tiny house). Both places are in a natural place near the main house, in which we two sleep. Two shared toilets and a room with shower and bath are provided. In the caravan it is possible to also cook by yourself, although I really enjoy cooking and would be happy to provide you with brunch and dinner (mostly yogurt with fruits for brunch and vegetarian dish as dinner with a lot of vegetables and self-made eggs and cheese from our neighbors - if needed a vegan option is possible).

Our dog loves all animals, so everything is accepted. Larger animals like horses should not be a problem, although we need to talk about pasture and horse stable situation.
