    Description

I'm Rob, a single dad living in inner city Melbourne who may need some help from time to time housekeeping and dog sitting, I have a long history as a couchsurfing host and enjoy meeting travellers, my daughter (born April 2014) also enjoys hosting and sharing, especially similarly aged kids. It's unlikely that we would host males without kids, sorry boys!

My situation currently is that I have taken in a boarder, a lovely Japanese girl, and no longer have a spare room. But we still like to host so I've set up a tent under cover on the rear verandah and will now start offering it to workawayers. Same as couchsurfing, I offer 2 nights for new arrivals to Melbourne to help them get their bearings, then wait to see how things unfold, that is if the tent is still free, do we all get along and is there some mutual interest in continuing for a bit longer.

I'll be brutally honest, I prefer mature guests that want to corrupt me, I sit at home alone every night when my daughter goes to bed so If I have a guest I want to hang, chat, maybe a drink :)
I expect you to prepare us a meal from whatever you find in the fridge, we eat meat :)
Outside of that you can do what you want, you're able to pick my brain on all things Melbourne, I can help with sim cards and anything you need to get established in Melbourne, if that's your plan :)

My expectations are that any guest would be a contributing member of the household, sharing normal tasks like any housemate, there could be times I have a specific requirement, like dog sitting, housekeeping or maybe some gardening which we can discuss. Otherwise I value what you can offer in terms of fun, friendship and cultural exchange. We are vaccinated and so should you be :)
