About me

Hi! I’m Alice, 27, originally from Italy and currently living in Spain.

I’m a curious, open-minded and easy-going person who loves meeting people from different backgrounds, discovering new places and sharing everyday life with others. Having travelled and lived in different countries, I’m comfortable adapting to new environments and sharing spaces.

I work as a language tutor and speak Italian, English, Spanish, Portuguese and French. I’m always happy to share languages, recipes, stories and good conversations!

I’m happy to help with cleaning, keeping shared spaces comfortable and preparing meals. I enjoy cooking.

I love animals and have experience taking care of dogs. I’m happy to help with looking after pets.

I really enjoy the everyday side of cultural exchange — sharing meals and experiences rather than simply being a guest passing through.

In my free time, I’m usually outdoors, by the sea, swimming, exploring somewhere new, or dancing.

What else ...

I’m interested in experiencing different ways of travelling, especially slow travel, less touristy destinations and travelling independently. For me, Workaway is a great way to get to know places through the people who live there and experience everyday life rather than simply visiting as a tourist.

I’m open to different kinds of experiences, especially those involving cultural exchange, nature, animals, hospitality or helping around a home or community.

I’ve already done two Workaway experiences: one as a camp leader assistant at a summer sports camp, and another as an au pair and English teacher with a Spanish family.
