Description
We are a young at heart retired couple with Christian values and ethics and we are looking for help with various tasks that are now getting too much for us. We have a small place in the Limousin, just south of Limoges. We generally try to spend time there between April and September but because it is a very rural location there is always lots of things to do

Although we have been there for 12 years we are still not fluent French speaking. I have gradually improved my skills and can 'get by' in most situations. But we really don't mind if the person we get is French or French speaking, or in fact just trying to improve their French like us! There is a good mix of French and English people nearby
Help
We are looking for someone with more energy than we have! Who would be helping with various jobs around the place, mainly outside with garden tidying and maintenance, sometimes pressure washing as there is always something that needs cleaning. But there may also be some interior work such as painting and general jobs around the home. In the main working alongside one of us but the ability to be left alone to get on with it is certainly desirable.

We have a large mobile home on a site in the Limousin near a town called St Yrieix-le-perche. Parked next to it we have a large luxury motorhome, which is of course fully equipped with bathroom, separate toilet and separate shower. It also has electricity connected and a gas hob and microwave. It's here that you will stay, fully self-contained accommodation.
With regard to food that is flexible I guess, but there will always be something available to eat! Some evenings you would eat with us but we do go out to eat at times also, so you could be cooking for yourself! What else ...
Like most of rural France there is little in the way of transport options. So mainly it is walking, although we have a cycle you can borrow. We may be able to drop you off at certain places occasionally, but in the main people come to this region for the quiet and peace and tranquillity, not the nightlife!

This work would be best suited to a solo traveller wishing to experience the calm and tranquillity of rural France. We do have internet access (when it works) and mobile signal is poor here. Although you go a mile down the road and they have a great signal!
Space for parking camper vans
The site that we are on would allow you to park your vehicle on one of the pitches available, but knowing the French owner as I do, it wouldn't be for free. I have no idea how much he charges per week but I could find out. It is only a small site, there is a shower/loo block and there is a swimming pool, but otherwise no facilities
