Hello!
We are a family of 4 living in the beautiful Comox Valley, BC
We are looking for workaways to help us around our 1/2 acre property and in the household with cooking and cleaning and looking after our animals( dog and birds).
Our kids are 8 and 6 years old and we would like for them to have a chance to meet interesting, adventurous people from around the world. We love living here in the Comox Valley, our home is steps away from rainforest trails, rivers and lakes, and access to the wild north of Vancouver Island. Come see this beautiful part of the world !

We are a (mostly) English speaking family with Spanish and French also being spoken in the home. We have a robust social life and are often hosting friends and family. Shared meals and time spent together would be the prime opportunities for cultural exchange. We welcome any connection through music, art, story, sports and games. Both myself and my husband have traveled a fair bit, and relish the chance to meet fun people from all the corners of the globe
One of our primary hopes is to expose our young children to people with a different world-view who can paint a picture of what life is like for other people around the world.

Help
Looking for help with household chores, cooking , cleaning, caring for pets, light gardening, basically people to help with our busy domestic life. My husband and I both work, and are looking for enthusiastic people who are willing to help out in our bustling household .

Accommodation
We have two spare queen size beds, each in its own room, in a separate living space from our main house. Kitchen and bathroom will be shared with our family.
The space shares a wall with another tenant in a suite, so a noise policy will be in place after 8 pm
Breakfast and lunch will be self directed, with access to our kitchen and pantry.Our hope is to have shared dinners
What else ...
The Comox Valley is a nature lovers dream, hiking, biking, swimming, skiing, all within easy reach of our home. We are living the family life, so looking for people who are going to be reasonably chill in the evenings. Our house is no smoking inside, and preferably no pets, as we already have a few. This is a busy house, so if you're the shy/ private type it might not be a good fit . We are excited to meet you!
