    Description

Hello! We are Aralia, José and Yur. A family of travelers who decided to stop for a while in a lovely place at the mountains.

Our project is to live and work at home, and to achieve that we are building an small house for rent, improving our land and making everything beautiful around.... The philosophy of our project is conected with ecological farming, producing our own food, not wasting water (recycling) or electricity. We hardly believe that a different way of living is posible and we go for it!

We live in Teror, an small town near Las Palmas (20kms). It is located in the greenest area of Gran Canaria, a beautiful place surrounded by nature. In winter (between january and may) weather is quite humid and cold (we can get 7Cº wich is very low in comparation with other parts of the island).

We don´t smoke, we try to eat in a healthy way cooking our own vegetables, eggs and fruits or buying them from local producers. We drink sometimes a beer or cup of wine but we don´t have a party atmosphere at home.

Sometimes we go on excursion, visiting new places, cultural activities.... but we have a calm way of living.

People staying at home needs to be self-sufficient about their free time, find activities to do and how to move around. We have bus stop 40 minutes by walk from our place (we can borrow you a byke, we have one). Most of social movement and cultural activities are happening in Las Palmas, 30 minutes by bus from here with good conexions every half and hour until 11 pm, 2,30€ each way. Teror is a calm place, you won´t find here parties, international people or concerts. But if you are looking for nature, local and authentic experience that´s your place!
