Description
We are an elderly couple, Portuguese and Dutch. We have a nice and beautiful garden, we are very interested in tropical fruit plants. We have banana, mango, avocado and citrus trees, among other.
Also we maintain a kitchen garden with vegetables and herbs, no potatoes!
Close to our place is the natural park Candeeiros, excellent for hiking, and very near are the beaches of Foz do Arelho , São Martinho do Porto and Nazaré. Foz do Arelho also has sailing, supping opportunities. Nazaré is famous for its waves and surfing opportunities.
Alcobaça is a nice historical little village with nice restaurants and of course, the famous Monastery

We offer good Portuguese traditional meals (background in professional cooking!), card games and board games, combined with good conversations.
We maintain a beautiful garden and can teach you how to provide your own fruit and vegetables and also how to grow your own.
We can introduce to the Portugal society, local markets and the beautiful country life.
Help
We need a helping hand in maintaining the trees and garden. Weeding, pruning, sowing, sweeping. Always together with us.
