    Description

WE LOOK ALSO FOR LONG-TERM COLLABORATORS FOR THE 2026 WORKING SEASON, FROM JUNE TO NOVEMBER WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF REMUNERATION IN THE chestnut harvesting.

We are a Social Promotion Association founded in 2026, and we are managing a Hostel with 3 hectares of land between fields.
The house by almost 700m2, is situated in a small valley between the mountains at about 780mt.
Here we are only 2: Roberto e Andrea. With us live a dogs; Andrea deals with the technical, mechanical and logistical aspects and is responsible for two NGOs on behalf of an Italian NGO, dedicated to migrants and unemployed Italians in order to recover and protect the environment. Roberto is a Vegetarian Chef active in the area and wishes to implement natural cuisine in the area.
The activities we are focusing on are: the recovery of the surrounding land, the reopening of hiking trails and the renovation of the property, using our timber thanks to our mobile sawmill and our Unimog. Life at the farm is very frugal: source water, renewable energy such as solar, wood heating with stoves, then vegetable garden, farm animals, wild plants and fruit of the forest. It requires presence throughout the year. A minimum of 3-4 weeks is preferred.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

You have to live in a forgotten place from the time that has come to us virtually intact for at least 500 years, source water, , no appliance, wood heating, wood-burning hot water, many activities without the use of machinery Learn how to make axes and beams with our mobile sawmill, make wooden artifacts, but also recognize spontaneous herbs, officinal herbs, organic garden, transform our products, get in touch with an NGO working for 15 years in Africa and follow the Works during a migrant training course created for the care of mountain territory. and many other things.

    Help

We're looking for help with all the daily tasks. We've only been here a month, and there's a lot of work to do. The tasks go far beyond simply managing the animals, heating, building timber, felling trees, clearing trails, cultivating crops, carpentry, blacksmithing, building renewable energy systems, and harvesting chestnuts in October. We'll be turning it into a hikers' hostel, with a shelter and a bivouac, temporary camping in July and August, a barbecue area, glamping areas... it's all there.
Everything is located within a regional park, and the project has been approved by the park's management.
