Love the mountains?
Kimberley offers one of the best mountain town experiences you can imagine — small-town charm, endless walking and cross-country ski trails, a local ski hill, and beautiful lakes for summer. You truly won’t believe your eyes.
There’s a small regional airport just 15 minutes from our home, with daily direct flights from Calgary and Vancouver, making travel easy.
We’re looking for light help with:
Cleaning and cooking, helping Francesca with Sophia, occasional projects around the house, yard, or garden (Cody always has something creative on the go!)
Sophia is 4 years old — smart, funny, and incredibly sweet. You’ll genuinely have fun spending time with her.
During your stay, you’ll likely have opportunities to:
-Meet locals and visitors from all over the world
-Play or listen to live music
-Walk, hike, or bike nearby trails
-Ski or cross-country ski
-Explore Kimberley’s beautiful Platzl (downtown)
-Visit unique and special places in the area
-Cook and bake with Francesca
-Help in the garden and yard
-Learn new skills and share your own
Some of our past guests have come from Switzerland, Japan, Germany, Korea, Australia, France, Quebec, and Ontario, and we’ve had wonderful experiences with all of them.
Our home is in Marysville, Kimberley.
On foot, you can reach:
-Beautiful waterfalls
-Golf course
-Walking and biking trails
-By car, you can easily reach:
-Downtown Kimberley
-The ski hill (10 minutes)
-Lakes and trailheads
-Cranbrook (20 minutes)
Accommodation:
Private bedroom, private bathroom
Large, comfortable, freshly renovated home
Quiet, beautiful neighborhood close to forests, parks, and nature walks
Food:
We eat a varied, mostly organic diet and can easily accommodate vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free preferences.
If you have time on your journey and would love to visit, help out, and experience the beauty of the East Kootenays, we’d love to hear from you.
Warmly,
Cody & Francesca

It was a great experience for me.
My main job was playing with their daughter, Sophia.
She is pretty and powerful and I had fun!!
Cody and Francesca were so kind.
They took me hiking, to the lake and downtown on my dayoff.
They were busy preparing to move at that time, but they accepted me.
I can't thank you… read more
We worked in a church which they are renovating, in the garden, did house-cleaning and cooking.
They volunteer a lot and they are conscientious about their diet.
Francesca is a nice cook and we could participate at their pizza party.
Thanks a lot!
Anne helped us in the garden, in the kitchen and with other jobs here and there, and she always went above and beyond to make sure that her work was complete and well-done. She was great with the kids and a… read more
My experience in Olds with Cody, Francesca, Mateo, Pablo and their cat Pixie was so great. Not only are they kind, caring and hospitable people but they are interesting, creative, fun and they think outside of the box.
Francesca is an amazing cook and they eat super healthy, organic food… read more
