Luca was an absolute pleasure to have in our home. He was very efficient and a hard worker helping us do all different things we needed done around our yard and home.
He took pride in his work and was always kind when we had extra visitors in our home. The highlight was have him out kayaking and the dolphins came and swam not to far from him. So

Absolutely phenomenal! I stayed at Bev and John’s breathtaking place for 2 weeks and had such a nice time with them. Both are incredibly caring and their top priority is that you enjoy your stay, they have even let me be over during the easter holidays, introduced me to their family and let me partake of the great holiday meals. Working at their

If you enjoy the outdoors I very much recommend you visiting their place, because the house is located right down by the water at the idyllic Sechelt Inlet so you can easily go out for some kayaking or hiking on a nice day and enjoy the nature of British Columbia. You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

Leaving Mckenzie family only a week, I’ve been beginning to miss them already, including the little puppy Tazo. They treat workawayers with respectful and thoughtful. It’s a nice and blessed family, and I feel so lucky to have a chance to be a part.of them. I have learned a lot from the hostess Bev who is a kind and determined woman. She does

It’s a pleasure that I can do painting, gardening, and cleaning job for this family and maitain their clean and comfortable living environment. The host ,John, is a generous gentleman. He bought me his favorite pizza which is the best in town. Although he owns a great business, he is still very humble. Their daughter Claudia is a considerate and wonderful graphic designer.I admire what she paints and enjoy watching her painting. They gave me an unforgettable experience to barbecue on their boat, watching eagles flying in the sky, and seals swimming in the sea. Most of all , the breathtaking sunset view!!!
I wish every workawayer has a lucky chance like me. May God bless this family forever! You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

I stayed with this awesome family for about 3 weeks in May. There was so much going on when I arrived (as their house flooded) and I was really happy that I was able to help them getting their home back in order and taking away some of the stress. I stayed in their beautiful motorhome for a little bit, then moved to a private bedroom (with
… read more bathroom) in the house. Bev is a real power woman who can do any job and it was so nice to work with her in the house (painting, fixing walls, cleaning, organising the pantry, the garage etc) and outside (weeding, power washing, cleaning the boat). John is super nice and I already miss his jokes. Their daughter Claudia lives close by so I also spent a lot of time with her. The whole family is extremely considerate and they all make sure that you are having a good time. They try their best to take you out to see the beautiful area. I was lucky enough to enjoy a couple days on the boat with them to explore the inlet and kayak with seals in the morning or at sunset right from the end of their backyard. I was also invited in their social lives so there was always something going on. You will be well taken care of in terms of food. Both Bev and John are great cooks and make sure you're never hungry. I was also happy to share their (chai) tea obsession <3 I don't think I've ever met people that are this positive and I'm really grateful that you welcomed me into your lives!
Thanks for everything, you are amazing! See you soon! xYou can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

Sabine was an absolute dream to have in our home. She was always eager to help me with anything and worked extremely hard to get everything done for me. Lovely heart and caring personality. I would recommend her to anyone who would ask for a reference.

Marie was the second workaway we have had. She was an absolute pleasure to have in our home. Very trust worthy and honest person. She was very easy to converse with and enjoyed some of our long talks. She was very helpful around the home and yard... and excellent help in making meals. I would refer her anytime

I just can reconfirm Laura's words. It was a real pleasure to experience the Canadian (Sunshine Coast) way of life and being for a short while part of a great and interesting family. Thanks again for the wonderful conversations! Let me know when you are in Austria/Europe!

I really had a good time at the Sunshine Coast with Bev, John and Claudia! They are such a lovely family and made me feel like being home. I'll never forget my time there and will definitely cook Bev's recipes in Germany. :)
