    Description

    **** We are seeking someone for the upcoming September.****

    We are French family and relocated to London in 2019. We have 2 daughters, aged 8 and 10, who both speak French and English. They are going to English schools but we speak French at home to maintain their French!

    We live in a nice area of London called Finchley Central, where you can find some café, restaurants, gym and parks. We are at a walking distance from the subway (10 minutes walk to the station Finchley Central on the Northern Line). It takes about 30 minutes to go to Central London. They are many things to do and visit in London (free museums, parks, restaurants, concerts, sports game, etc.), as well as in Greater London and in the UK.

    Many au pairs work in our neighbourhood which creates opportunity to meet new people too.

    We are excited to welcome a self-sufficient and independent Workawayer to our home. Our ideal volunteer is someone who enjoys having their own space and schedule, particularly when it comes to meals and personal time. While we value the exchange of cultures and experiences that Workaway offers, we've found that our family prefers a bit more privacy during meal times. Therefore, we encourage our Workawayer to embrace their independence in the kitchen, cooking and enjoying meals at their convenience.

    Outside of the committed 20 hours of work per week, there's ample opportunity for you to explore the local area and London. London offers a variety of sights and activities, and we're happy to provide information to facilitate your adventures. This arrangement is perfect for someone who appreciates a balance of enjoying a place to stay and contributing to helping in the house while having the freedom to pursue their own interests and experiences in their downtime.

    We're looking for someone reliable, responsible, dynamic and clean, with a good sense of order and willing to help in
    a busy household. Someone who likes children.

    We will need help with :
    - keeping the house tidy on a day to day basis (laundry, kitchen, etc.);
    - cooking meals for the family (someone who enjoys cooking and trying new recipes is ideal!)
    - pick-up kids from school (less than 5 minutes walk)

    Schedule is about 4 hours a day, 2 hours in the morning (cooking lunch, laundry and tidying up) and 2 hours when school finishes (pick-up kids from school, cooking dinner, tidying up), and we have flexibility regarding the timing of the morning hours.
