  Description

  We live in Erkner on the outskirts of the capital city of Berlin. You can be in the centre of Berlin in 20 minutes by Regio and the Berlin City Forest is just outside our front door. So you can be in the forest or at the lake in 5 minutes, whichever you prefer.
  There are three or often five of us living in our small semi-detached house. But we have a large garden with trees, shrubs and lots of flower beds. We have raised beds, vegetable patches, flower meadows, herbs and lots of natural gardening.
  We are Ronny (61), Anne (59), Feli (18), Jacob (29) and his girlfriend Felicia (28). Our dogs Liska (11) and Molly (4) and two bee colonies also live with us. We all enjoy the garden and are constantly changing it so that plants and animals feel at home in it.
  Unfortunately, we are unable to offer workaway programmes from November to mid-March. It is too cold during these months.

  Wir leben in Erkner am Rande der großen Hauptstadt Berlin. Mit dem Regio bist du in 20 Minuten im Zentrum von Berlin und kurz vor unserer Haustür liegt der Berliner Stadtforst. Du bist also in 5 Minuten im Wald oder am See, ganz wie es dir gefällt.
  Wir wohnen zu dritt und oft auch zu fünft in unserer kleinen Doppelhaushälfte. Dafür aber haben wir einen großen Garten mit Bäumen, Sträuchern und vielen Beeten. Wir haben Hochbeete, Gemüsebeete, Blumenwiesen, Kräuter und viel Naturgarten.
  Wir, das sind Ronny (61), Anne (59), Feli (18), sowie Jacob (29) und seine Freundin Felicia (28). Außerdem leben noch unsere Hunde Liska (11), Molly (4) und zwei Bienenvölker mit und bei uns. Wir alle genießen den Garten und sind ständig dabei, diesen so zu verändern, dass Pflanzen und Tiere sich darin wohlfühlen.
  Von November bis Mitte März können wir leider kein Workaway bei uns anbieten. In diesen Monaten ist es zu kalt.

  There is so much to discover in your free time in Berlin, but also in beautiful Brandenburg. You can hire our bikes or the canoe, go hiking or climbing in the surrounding area or just chill out in the hammock.
  We eat very little meat and try to eat as much vegetarian food as possible. We have a lot of experience in making our own herbal tea blends. You are welcome to learn from us or contribute your own experiences.

  In eurer Freizeit gibt es unendlich viel in Berlin, aber auch im schönen Brandenburg zu entdecken. Ihr könnt euch unsere Fahrräder oder das Kanu ausleihen, in der Umgebung wandern oder klettern oder einfach nur in der Hängematte chillen.
  Wir essen sehr wenig Fleisch und versuchen, uns möglichst vegetarisch zu ernähren. Wir haben viel Erfahrung mit dem Eigenbau und mit der Herstellung von Kräuterteemischungen. Hier kannst du gern von uns lernen oder deine eigenen Erfahrungen einbringen.

  Help

  We are currently planning a wooden Swedish house in which two people can sleep comfortably. We would like your help with this.
  We would like help from one or two people with these tasks:
  
  - Building a Swedish house (kit), in which you will then also sleep and live
  - Gardening work such as creating beds, sowing, planting, tending, looking after flower meadows,
  - Collecting herbs and making tea
  - Making plant broths and organic fertiliser
  - If you are interested, you can also help with bee care
  - Cooking jams
  - Look after animals from time to time

  Aktuell planen wir ein Schwedenhaus aus Holz, in welchem zwei Personen bequem schlafen können. Hierfür wünschen wir uns eure Hilfe.
  Bei diesen Aufgaben wünschen wir uns Hilfe von ein oder zwei Personen:
  • Schwedenhaus bauen (Bausatz), in dem ihr dann auch schlafen und wohnen werdet
  • Gartenarbeiten wie Beete anlegen, säen, pflanzen, pflegen, Blumenwiesen betreuen,
  • Kräuter sammeln und Tee herstellen
  • Pflanzenbrühen und organischen Dünger herstellen
  • Bei Interesse auch gern Hilfe bei der Bienenpflege
  • Marmeladen kochen
  • hin und wieder Tiere betreuen

  You will initially live separately in our granny flat and then move into the Swedish house that we have built together.
  We want to offer 3 meals.
  Breakfast with bread or rolls and cheese, sausage or vegan spread.
  A warm meal at lunchtime, e.g. soup.
  Evening bread, sausage, cheese, vegan spread, salad or a warm meal.

  Ihr wohnt anfangs separat in unserer Einliegerwohnung und zieht dann in das Schwedenhaus, welches wir gemeinsam aufgestellt haben.
  Wir wollen 3 Mahlzeiten anbieten.
  Frühstück mit Brot oder Brötchen und Käse, Wurs oder veganem Aufstrich.
  Mittag ein warmes Essenz.B. Suppe.
  Abend Brot, Wurst, Käse, veganer Aufstrich Salat oder ein warmes Essen.
