Hello! I'm Laurent, an entrepreneur passionate about sustainable development and technological innovations in building. My family and I live on a beautiful farm of 60ha in Catalonia, just near Barcelona, surrounded by nature, with mountains and beaches within easy reach. We love sharing our daily life with people from around the world, learning about new cultures, and building projects that have a positive environmental impact.

Travelers will immerse themselves in a rich multicultural environment, blending Catalan, Spanish, Chilean, Belgian and Swiss influences. They'll learn about sustainable living practices, innovative green technologies, and the intricacies of restoring a 16th-century Catalan farm.
Help
Our farm is a renovation project that aims to blend tradition with innovation. Dating back to the 16th century, it is a nearly intact typical Catalan farm that we are working to restore while preserving its historical beauty.
This year, 2024, we are specifically looking for help to insulate the roof from inside using a 100% natural technique with sheep's wool and to implement a revolutionary solar energy-based heating system that has never been done before.
Alongside this, we're integrating green technologies from my company, Activ-Glass, which specializes in sustainable and smart glass solutions. Our goal is to create a space that not only reflects our commitment to sustainability, innovation, and well-being but also stands as a testament to the harmonious blend of historical preservation and cutting-edge environmental technology.
Our project is not business-related, nor is it intended to generate revenue. This project is philanthropic, aimed at preserving and revitalizing a cultural and social asset that is on the verge of disappearing.

Spanish’ French, English are spoken every day. Dad also manages Dutch and German, usually better with a glass of Priorat wine in his hand.
Accommodation
Our accommodation, nestled in the mountains and close to a direct train to Barcelona, offers rustic charm over luxury. Think of it as "luxuriously minimalist" with stunning nature and tranquility making up for the simple comforts. You'll have your own room and private bathroom in a separate area, promising a unique five-star-like experience. 3 meals will be provided every day for free taking into account each other's preferences wherever possible.

In their time off, our helpers can immerse themselves in the vibrant life of Barcelona, 50 min away by direct train. The city offers a rich tapestry of cultural experiences, diverse entertainment, exquisite gastronomy, and beautiful beaches. The farm is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, nestled among welcoming villages and surrounded by endless hiking and mountain biking trails in the picturesque Catalan mountains. This unique location provides the perfect balance between serene countryside living and the bustling urban life of one of Europe's most dynamic cities.

Although we're off the grid, our photovoltaic installation is robust and reliable, ensuring that power is never an issue. Furthermore, our internet connection is powered by Starlink, offering superior speed and reliability that surpasses many other areas.

Yes, visitors are welcome to live and work from their motorhomes on our property. We offer a variety of picturesque spots to choose from, including 60 hectares of woodland and flat areas that overlook the valley, offering beautiful views. However, please note there may be some restrictions during the summer months due to fire risk, ensuring the safety of all our guests and the preservation of the natural surroundings.
