    Description

Reading this section is very important.

At this time, we will only accept applications from people with skills in construction, carpentry, and those who know how to make wood-burning stoves, adobe, or bricks.

It is important that you have an intermediate level of Spanish so that we can communicate clearly and have fluid conversations.

    ————————————-——

I am Chaska, a backstrap loom weaver. I have a small textile shop where I sell my work. I live with my life partner, Rolando. We live a beautiful, simple life here, full of love.

    *Construction/Carpentry
We need to build several things in our house. Right now, the most important things are:
    - We need an experienced carpenter to improve the workshop where I teach weaving, including walls and furniture. It should be sturdy and attractive.

    *Stove/Heat Stove
We want to build a stove in the kitchen for heating and cooking. We also need a stove for the workshop.

It can be made of stone, adobe, or a rocket stove.

    - Finally, I need to build stone and adobe walls to create an enclosed garden.

We need people with experience in this type of work, responsible and proactive individuals who enjoy living in our home with a family from Chinchero.

    * Work Schedule
    - 5 days on / 2 days off
    - During the 5 days of work, two meals will be provided daily, and we will all cook the third meal together.

On the two days off, you will be responsible for your own meals; we have markets where you can buy fresh and inexpensive ingredients.

    - 4 hours of work per day.

    - Minimum stay: 2 weeks.

    Some considerations:

    - Smoking, alcohol, and drugs are not allowed in the house.

    - When you apply, please send us photos or PDFs of your work.

    - Proactivity is something we truly value in a volunteer.

Thank you very much, and we look forward to welcoming you.

    ---

    * Tiempo de Trabajo
