Description
We are a couple (Katy and John), we live on a 5 acre rural property with our three dogs in the picturesque Sunshine Coast Hinterland in Queensland. We recently relocated to this area are are in need of help to tame the overgrown gardens, clean out an old chicken coop to house chickens for free range eggs, build above ground gardens for herbs and vegetables and prune existing neglected fruit trees.
We can accommodate one couple or 2 workaways travelling together, the help required is manual labor outside. We will provide accommodation in our home with access to separate shower and toilet facilities, shared kitchen and wifi and/or they can park their car/small van on the property. We ask our Workaways to provide help for 30 hours per week in exchange for the provision of accommodation and food. Length of stay can be negotiated but must be for a minimum of one week. We are not able to sign off hours towards visa requirements or pay a wage. Helpers will need their own transport as there is limited public transport, it is a 10 minute drive to the township of Cooroy and a 30 minute drive to Noosa Beach.
