Description
I was a police officer and my partner was a teacher before we retired 3 years ago. Since then we have been looking after our grandchildren and taking active trips. At the spring and fall we have small jobs and cleaning to do in our two residences and on the land, one of which is located on an Indigenous community on the waterfront in Lac-St-Jean and the other in Quebec City

Help
We would like some help with household chores and maintaining our plants and water garden. We will work together. There could also be small jobs, nothing major, if you are comfortable with that, such as varnishing our outdoor patio.We have two residences. One is a waterfront home located in Mashteuiatsh, on an Indigenous reserve. The needs are a little different there. The help may include some finishing tasks, such as applying silicone, doing a bit of painting, as well as general housekeeping, similar to what is needed at our home in Québec City.
Nous aimerions avoir de l'aide pour des travaux ménagers et pour l'entretien de nos plantes et notre jardin d'eau. Nous allons travailler ensemble. Il pourrait aussi y avoir des menus travaux, pas de grosses constructions, si vous êtes à l'aise avec cela, comme vernir notre patio extérieur et remplacement de quelques planches. Nous avons deux résidences dont celle sur le bord de l'eau qui est située à Mashteuiatsh sur une réserve autochtone. Les besoins diffèrent un peu , il pourrait y avoir des travaux de finition comme l'application de mono et un peu de peinture et comme à Québec des travaux ménagers -

Accommodation
We have two residences with multiple bedrooms. You'll have your own room and a private bathroom in Quebec City. You'll be welcomed into our home like friends; we'll share some of the meal preparation and dishwashing 🤭
We love to cook, so if you have any preferences or special needs, we'll adapt. Meals and their preparation are such a wonderful way to connect and get to know each other better.

We're active retirees, so we have plenty of suggestions for exploring Quebec City and the surrounding area. We can also help you with transportation. By the way, we have a rather independent senior cat.
