Description
I'm Ross, a retired builder/project manager living in the rural village of Bangalow. I live alone with my Labrador, Dash.
Over the past 14 years I've hosted travellers from all corners of the globe and enjoy the interaction with people from other countries and cultures. To me, this is the magic of Workaway and is far more important than the work.
In exchange for self-contained accommodation, I ask for help with various tasks around the property: cleaning, gardening, dog-walking, cooking (if you know how!).
Some of the earlier reviews relate to my small farm close by and now living in town I find I still need help - even if the property is smaller. -

Accommodation
Accommodation is in a downstairs studio which has a bathroom and outdoor (undercover) kitchen. This area has a double bed and has just been entirely renovated. It has a sunny patio with its own entrance, which is a lovely place to quietly relax overlooking the tropical gardens.
High speed internet is available.
In exchange I ask for 10 hours work for singles, and 7 hours each for couples weekly. Suitable for singles or couples. -
What else ...
Bangalow is a delightful village about 10 km inland from Bryon Bay and the coast. It has a pub, cafes, supermarket and a variety of other shops. Byron Bay is 15 minutes by car,. There's a bus to Byron and Ballina, but it only runs a few times a day, so to make the most of your visit having your own car is best,
