Description
Bonjour
I'm happy to welcome open-minded, curious, and respectful travellers who are eager to share and learn through meaningful cultural exchange.
I share my home with three cats, each full of character. They occupy a significant part of the house -and my heart- so being a cat lover is pretty much a requirement to anyone visiting!
Located in a charming part of France, my home is close to the Atlantic Ocean, offering outdoor activities such as surfing, paddleboarding, swimming, or simply relaxing on the beach.
This area is also rich in culture and history, with local markets, festivals, traditional cuisine and beautiful architecture. I love the quality of life here, and I'm happy to share it with people from around the world.
As a host, I believe in the spirit of mutual exchange: I'll do my best to make you feel at home and help you integrate into the local way of life, while also learning from your culture, language, and experiences. Whether it's over a shared meal, a walk by the sea, a swim ( even in chilly waters sometimes!), or a simple conversation, I truly value the connections that are formed through this kind of experience.
While I value meaningful exchange, it is also important that the person is independent, enjoying their own activities and preferably able to disconnect themselves from their smartphone for few hours.:-) Please note that I don't have a TV.
It is a voluntary help and I do not pay anyone.Types of help and learning opportunities

This exchange is also about sharing experiences, whether through conversations, cooking together, or simply enjoying each other's company, if and when we feel like it. At the same time, I value and respect independence: you'll have time and space for yourself and the freedom to explore on your own terms.
I'm also happy to learn from you: whether it's a practical skill, a language, a recipe, or any unique knowledge you'd like to share. Everyone has something valuable to offer here!Help
I offer meaningful exchange centered around some light general maintenance projects in the house and the garden. There are some small room renovation tasks such as sanding, painting, paperwall. ( I am happy to show you if you have never done any!) The project is ongoing, and your input, ideas, and creativity are more than welcome!
