If you have the chance to host Toby then I would highly recommend. He is hard working, full of energy, great fun to have around. During his time with us he helped out in the construction of a yurt platform and yurt as well as laying and installing power to a cabin. He has a wide range of skill from professional electrical work, building to simply

Sally and Tom stayed with us for about a month, mid October to mid November. They were fun, easy going and a pleasure to have around. They were hard working and happy to get involved with any projects we had going on from taking down yurts to fitting guttering and helping with the sheep. They really were a massive help to us during there stay and

Sal and Tom are also very responsible with there dog, making sure he was kept on a lead and under control around the farm and animals at all time. If you have the chance to host them I would highly recommend. All the best with your adventures!

We absolutely loved our time at staying at Jenny and Kenneth's place for a month. The location was so incredible, with a dramatic and ever changing view that we will never forget. There was an ideal dog walk everyday down a cliff path on to the beach and you can walk along the beach to a nearby village in about an hour. We worked mostly with Jenny

Our accommodation was in the cabin due to the time of year, as the volunteer yurt had been taken down until Spring. The cabin was ideal, warm and cosy with a breathtaking view. We were lucky enough to see Kenneth's band play, which was excellent! We really enjoyed the end of season party too! Would recommend this Workaway to anyone who loves beautiful places and would return in a heartbeat. You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

I can't put into words, how much I liked these two weeks in the Scottish Highlands. I've came to home with so many pleasant memories that I don't even know where to begin. First of all, the work itself was rather light and enjoyable. I like cooking for other people, so it was a pleasure to do that on a daily basis. We cleaned the yurts every day
… read more with my fellow workawayer, Flo, and then we usually had the time to explore the surroundings. We regurarly attended the local bar, the Plough Inn, made some new friends, and also went to some other gatherings with Jenny and Kenneth, getting to know many of their lovely mates. The nature is amazing there, and finding mushrooms in the forests with Kenneth, was a very nice activity. I also got the chance to paint his boat which helped me to realise how much I like creating art. On the last day, I was really sad. I didnt really know it can be so sad to leave a place, since Ive never really felt connected to foreign people and places by always travelling with fellow hungarians and therefore not making as many interactions with the locals.
Overall, I kindly recommend this place to anyone who has a kind of free spirit, since Kenneth and Jenny are very flexible and open-minded people to be around. You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

Our stay with Jenny and Kenneth was just amazing, two very inspiring people with incredible energies. For helping with all sorts of jobs around a sustainable farm (including sheep herding, lamb cuddling and bramble destroying) we got to stay in a truly amazing and comfy yurt with a spectacular view over the Moray Firth, that changes every day

A French cuple we met in Holand told us about a "pettit paradise" in the Highlands. They told us about the yurts, the forest, the beach where they could see dolphins... So we couldn´t resist. Next summer we did an exchange with the host. We stayed there for 3 weeks, with Jenny, Kenneth, Tui and Ted, the horses, the pigs, the sheeps and the

As the french couple told us, the place is wonderful. The volunteers' yurt is the best located one, with sea views. The forest is like a fairytale, and you can arrive walking to a lonely beach in a few minutes ¡here we could see dolphins!
Jenny and Kenneth also invite us going with them to other amazing places ¡where we could see sealts!
Thank you very much Jenny and Kenny Bongos, because we lived great adventures at your place!

We were there for few weeks in spring, but we have experience for the rest of our life! Totally cool place with the best people! There is nothing more romantic than sleeping in yurt - maybe when is snowing at the same time. There were lots of interesting work. Everyday we did something different, we never bored there. These three weeks have passed so quickly! I can't believe that I won't wake up in the yurt tomorrow and feed the pigs before breakfast.
For all the workawayers looking for feedback: the place is really amazing, not only the yurt campsite but the whole Black Isle and its so welcoming population; plus both Jenny and Kenneth are two of the most

You definitely can't go wrong contacting them. Perfect hosts, perfect place and there is always something going on around the farm or the campsite, so the every day life is really amusing. And nothing feels better than a couple of beers at the pub after a busy day ;)
Small note for you guys: again, thank you so much for everything you have done for Didi and me, from the fact that you hosted us to each and every smile. Hope that the party this weekend is a success and be sure that we will be there for the one in November! Not just for the pary but also to stay for a while if you need a helping hand this winter ;)You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

We had a great time with Jenny and Kenneth, they are very nice guys, very attentive to our needs. Always looking after us, to not to be cold, to supply our vegetarian and vegan diet, (even they aren't), to give us time to know the surroundings, even they themselves carried a certain number of place; we shared some beers in a bar, they took us to

But we essentially enjoyed a lot helping them; we did something different every day, which was very nice, helping with the yurts, painting, making a way to connect the yurts, feeding the pigs, weeding, chopping wood...
On the other hand, The place is beautiful, with an incredible sea view and the surroundings are just lovely for walking or cycling.
In short, we loved our experience with them. We highly recommend them.
Thank you very much, Jenny and Kenneth, for being so nice to us.
