    Description

    Hi! My name is Krzysztof.
I live in the most beautiful region of Poland — the Bieszczady Mountains. My nearest neighbors are 300 meters away, so here you’ll find real peace and closeness to nature.
I share my home with four dogs and five cats — they are my family.

I used to work with photography, filmmaking and editing. I also wrote short stories. Nowadays I create assemblages and sculptures, and I play the bass guitar. You can find my art on Facebook

I have ADHD — so I’m rarely bored and I love exploring new ideas. I’m fascinated by insects and wild nature, I love art and old things with soul and history. I listen to Coil a lot. I don’t drink alcohol, I meditate and I run short distances sometimes.

My home is fully vegan — there’s no place for meat or dairy here. I have a VW T4 van and a drum kit — so if you play, we can jam together!
I love meeting open-minded, creative people — kindred spirits, musicians, artists, travellers.
You’re welcome to come with your own animals too, although I can’t promise they’ll instantly get along with mine.
There’s good internet here — you can rest, create, work remotely or just enjoy the calm and the forest.
I speak Polish, basic English and Russian — and I’d love to practice my English and learn some Spanish too.
I usually invite guests for short stays — up to a week, unless we really click and decide to stay longer!

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

There will be plenty of time to talk, share, and exchange ideas. I can show you beautiful places — bear and wolf tracks. I can teach you how to find dead beetles and prepare them. You can play a fretless bass. I’ll share my knowledge and experience in studio photography. And probably many other things too.
For me, the real value will be having conversations in English, even if it’s not your native language. I’m also happy to chat in Polish

    Help

Before you come, we’ll agree together on what kind of help would work for both of us — but don’t worry, there won’t be too much hard work.
I have a lot of wood to cut and chop, some walls and floors to paint, an attic to tidy up, grass to mow, floors to wash — and of course you can cook if you like!
We’ll keep it simple, relaxed and fair for everyone.

I also know many beautiful hidden places in my region and I’ll gladly show you around.

If this sounds good to you — send me a message, come over, let’s share some time together!

You will have your own room. The bathroom is shared. Meals are not included — we will likely share the costs of food.
Please note that I might suggest sharing the cost of food together. Usually, I cook together with my guest and we split the grocery expenses to keep it fair and enjoyable for both sides.
