  My name is María and I am mother of 3. I am looking for help mainly to teach and look after my 3 children.
  
  I manage various properties for rental and work mostly from home. I do have a pretty busy life, in my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, travelling, arts (especially music) and of course going to the beach! My older child, Lea, is 9 years old, she is very independent, enthusiastic and has her own strong opinions and likings. She adores animals and reading and she is learning music (piano and drums). Atín is 6 and a half years old, he is very energetic and needs regular physical movement, he is currently crazy about basketball, he loves reading too and he is great looking after the plants. Siena is 4 and a half years old, she is always keen to play and loves going out for a fun plan with family or friends. They are wonderful children but when they are all together they tend to fight way too much for my liking! If you are to work with us you will definite need great patience and good conflict resolution skills.
  
  During the summer we live in a beautiful spot just 400m from the wild beach of Mangueta, in Zahora, province of Cadiz. Our house has only 2 bedroom so we cannot accommodate you there, but we can offer a brand new, beautiful, tiny house for you alone! So, you would be living very close to us but will have complete independence. Obviously this would have the downside that we would spend less time all sharing together, but on the other hand, if you value your privacy this is a much better deal than getting a room! ;-)

  The south of Spain, and this part of Cadiz in particular, is a really interesting place to live in. People are generally open-minded, relaxed and friendly, we love our time to socialize and enjoy leisure, obviously the good weather helps with this!
  
  We are based in the country and very close the beach, it is a quiet environment ideal for long walks by the beach and a relaxed atmosphere. Most of the restaurants, bar, shops, etc are a minimum of 20 min walking distance. If you don’t have a car you would definitely need at least a bike here. On the other hand, we are only 6km away from the renowned surfing spot El Palmar, 5,5km away from Los Caños de Meca and 12km away from Conil de la Frontera. These are all fantastic places, with beautiful, long beaches and they are very lively during the summer, with a friendly and international environment.

  Help

  Ideally, you would be someone who can commit for 2-3 months, or even more!
  
  We are looking for a German native speaker, ideally a teacher, who is willing to speak with my children 100% of the time in German, despite the fact that they currently hardly understand anything of the language...I know that this could be a big challenge, especially if you have not done this type of immersive language teaching before, so please do not contact me if you are not fully on board with this learning method. We would need some flexibility with the timetable, some days you could help us at mornings but most days during afternoons/evening
  
  The job would entail: teaching German, babysitting, helping the kids with their homework, driving the kids to and picking them up from their classes or summer camps (you will need a driving license and extensive experience of driving), occasional (basic) cooking and house tiding. Generally, we would love someone enthusiastic who enjoys spending time with children and is inventive so that they could create interesting activities and engage them in varied things. We would greatly value language teaching training and experience, as well as training in respectful accompaniment, active or alternative pedagogies such as Montessori, Waldorf, etc.
  
  If you are a couple you could both come as the house has a double bed. In that case, another type of work that could also be useful for us is: cooking, gardening, painting, carpentry or other general maintenance skills, teaching skills for kids in areas such as music, arts and crafts, creative projects, swimming, gardening, surf, horse riding..it could also be helpful someone with webpage creating skills.

  The job itself entails speaking only in German with the children (they would obviously reply and always speak in Spanish to you), but I don't speak any German myself, so you and I would speak in English, if that is a good option for you. Unfortunately, you could not speak in Spanish to us at any time, as I don't want the children to know that they have the option of you speaking their language... the immersive language situation is our primary goal here ;-)

  Accommodation

  During the summer we live in a beautiful land (around 3.000m2) just 400m from the wild beach of Mangueta, in Zahora, province of Cadiz. We have a large garden with fruit trees and a small salt pool. Our house has only 2 bedroom so we cannot accommodate you there, but we can offer a brand new, beautiful, tiny house for you alone! So, you would be living very close to us but will have complete independence. Obviously this would have the downside that we would spend less time all sharing together, but on the other hand, if you value your privacy this is a much better deal than getting a room! ;-)
  
  As you can see for the photos, the wooden tiny house prepared for you is an open space with double bed, desk, full equipped kitchen, bathroom and a wooden deck with a garden area. It is really bright and you will hear many of birds and the sea waves from your bed…
  
  In terms of the food we could look at various options, we would do a regular shopping for you to have breakfast at your own home (since we don't usually have breakfast together), you could then join us for lunch and dinner (we could cater for restrictive diets sorry), or we could pay you a monthly allowance if you prefer to cook independently in you own tiny house.
