Description
Hello, my name is David, at 28 years ago I left the city, I gave up my profession, my job, my friends, etc. to live closer to nature, 15 years have passed, I have three children and my wife, I use permaculture as philosophy and tool for a more sustainable and self-sustaining life. Our farm is located in Sorata, which is a beautiful valley 3 hours away from the city of La Paz, with a temperate and very pleasant climate all year round, surrounded by large mountains and rivers, an ideal place to escape from the city.
In addition to Permaculture, I am very interested in philosophy, chess, music, and education. I like to teach and learn from people. The volunteers' task is mainly on the farm, in the kitchen and also with my children and other children in the community.
We don't speak English but we would love to learn.Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Throughout these years we have learned many things, about how to live in the countryside, how to raise children, etc. Things we love to share.
In their free time, volunteers can take the opportunity to rest in the hammocks, walk along the river, play with the children, take walks around the area or talk with the family.
Something very important for us are books and seeds, if you can help us get them we will be very grateful,Projects involving children
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
Help
Volunteers will help in the garden, preparing the land to plant vegetables, legumes and cereals, weeding, construction and general maintenance tasks of the farm. We are also interested in people who can teach our children: English, yoga, music, meditation, painting, etc.

Each volunteer has a room, close to the main house that can be single, double or double, they have a shared kitchen, bathroom and other services available to have a good stay, they can also camp if they like. We offer 2 meals and two day off per week.
We eat vegetables and fruits from the garden according to the season, our diet is vegetarian some days and with meat on others. What else ...
We are a family with limited resources, who works hard to get ahead. We expect volunteers with a positive attitude and, above all, a willingness to perform tasks well and not just pass the hours.
