    Description

    Hello !
We are a family of 3 with a son born in 2012.
We live in a stone house, that we renovated with eco-friendly materials, on the countryside. We have a big garden with 4 sheeps, 4 hens, 1 cat, flowers, trees and organic vegetables.
Our son enjoys practicing sport (tennis, table tennis, basketball, badminton, football, biking...), but also reading and taking care of our animals. He loves beautiful cars and formula 1.
My husband is very keen on growing vegetables for which we are self sufficient, and i rather take care of the flowers. I volunteer in a board games library in our village and I also like very much dancing salsa. We all play music (trombone, guitar and flute).
As we don't travel a lot, we love welcoming international guests at home to meet people from other cultures, and open the mind of our family towards other ways of life !

    We expect from travellers:
    - to help us to improve our language skills, speaking English, German or Spanish with us, not with lessons but simply interacting in the daily activities, without speaking French as in language immersion.
    - Our son would like to play tennis with our guest. He has been playing this sport in a club since 2024 and would like to train with a partner to improve his level. There are 2 indoor tennis courts in our village.
    - On weekends and holidays, I could need some help with weeding in the garden, peeling chestnuts, picking fruits,...etc...

We can lend our guest a bike to explore the surrounding area in his free time.
On workdays for my husband and me, we will probably not be very available but we would be very happy to spend the evenings together as a family (preparing diner, board games, chatting, music etc...) .

Feel free to ask any question if needed.
If you are interested, we are looking forward to meeting you !

The helper would have a private room but would share the bathroom, toilets and rest of the house with us. We would only welcome non-smoking travellers.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

There is a wake park on the touristic Buhel lake 3 kms from the house, frequented by a crowd of young people in the summer, with also a small beach where it is allowed to swim and fish. A tree climbing park "Escapades Verticales" and a go-kart circuit "Solokart" are available nearby. The Nantes - Brest Canal is not far from our house and we are leaving 1 hour from Nantes and from the ocean (with a car). There are also many associations in Plessé: board games library, book library, football, tennis, judo, dance, running, badmington, horse riding, yoga, theatre, heritage restoration, music groups...
