We are a family of seven - with three boys and two girls. All of the young are living away except one son aged 24 who works the family business. We live in a beautiful part of rural Ireland, beside a lake, one mile from a village and 3 miles from a good bus route to Dublin.
We live in an old house with lots of beautiful grounds to enjoy. There are lovely scenic walks and wonderful peace and quiet. Great bike rides, walks and nature abound.

The gentleman of the house (65) recently suffered a stroke and has been rehabilitating in a rehab unit for six months. He is now coming home and we would like some good support to help him with personal care, small tasks like internet problems, uploading and downloading stuff - i.e. books, music etc. He enjoys playing board games such as chess and scrabble and would benefit from some help and structure with physical exercises.
You would also be asked to engage in gardening activities, weeding, planting mowing etc. We would love to hear from kind, caring people with a good work ethic, a sense of humour and a 'joie de vivre' who would become very involved in helping to run a family home.
Twin room overlooking a beautiful view over a lake. Not ensuite. The house is old but very comfortable and furnished with antique furniture.
