    Description

    Hi there,

Would love to have a new volunteer from now to July 12th in particular :)

My name is Louise and I live in a beautiful space looking directly out in the lake Lough Ree in Co. Roscommon, Ireland. I am an author, children's therapist and meditation teacher. My main focus has been teaching children mindfulness and meditation and I run an organisation teaching hundreds of people internationally to be children's mindfulness teachers.

I am interested in meditation, spirituality, creativity, community, and living and relating in a conscious, loving way. I am also particularly interested in the divine feminine, feminine embodiment practices and sacred relating. My intention is to cultivate a creative, loving, gentle and slow way of living that honors the body and its natural cycles.

My intention is to cultivate here a space that supports these values and promotes well-being and a deeper, more intimate relationship with nature. I call the space "Embodied Heart Space".

The house is in a really beautiful space which looks directly out on the lake. Nature here is gorgeous, there are a lot of beautiful walks you can take. It is important to know that I live in a very quite and rural area surrounded by beautiful nature. However, Roscommon town is about 10 km away, and Athlone is 20 km away. Both have train stations, and I can give you a lift if you want to explore other parts of the country in your free time.

During your time here, you’ll have the opportunity to explore mindfulness and meditation practices, especially as they relate to children and emotional well-being. You can also learn about conscious living, feminine embodiment, and cultivating a slower, more intuitive rhythm of life. Whether you're curious about psychology, creativity, or simply reconnecting with nature, this space offers room to reflect, grow, and share meaningful conversations.

There’s a dedicated space for meditation, movement, and embodiment practices that you're welcome to use, as well as a very large library of books on topics like meditation, spirituality, and psychology—feel free to borrow anything that inspires you. I also love meaningful conversations and am always happy to explore these topics and many others together. There is also a sauna available from time to time.

I'm open to practicing mindfulness and meditation together sometimes if you're curious or already have a practice of your own. I'm also open to going for walks together from time to time.

However, there's no pressure to do anything. This space encourages both togetherness and solitude. You can set your own rhythm here, and we’ll naturally find ways to connect that feel easeful for both of us.

My intention for hosting is to experience living in conscious community and to connect with like-minded people from different parts of the world. I’m inspired by new ideas, stories, and the simple joy of sharing time and space with others. I hope to learn from your perspective, your culture, and what brings you joy and meaning—and I’d love to offer the same in return.

    Help

I welcome a little help around the home as part of our shared living experience, this might include preparing meals together, keeping the space tidy, or occasionally joining in with creative or nature-inspired projects like gardening, painting, or simple hands-on projects.
If you feel inspired and have ideas for how we could improve the space or create something new, I’d be delighted to hear them.

I am particularly interested in natural building projects!

Before your stay, we’ll have a call to get to know each other. It’s a chance to connect, ask any questions you might have, and explore how we can shape a rhythm of shared activities that feels good for both of us.

Please note that any support offered here is purely within the flow of daily life and personal projects—there are no business-related tasks involved.
