Description
Note:
We are not currently accepting any applications.
We're a family of six (four older kids) living on a small holding in Cork. Alongside our jobs as a dentist and a primary school teacher, we enjoy growing vegetables and tending our orchard and nut grove.
We're a lively, busy family who love sharing our time and our home with friends and visitors. We've a wide range of interests between the six of us: swing dancing, orienteering, climbing, bouldering, hiking, sea swimming, playing music, travelling and playing board games!

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We live in a beautiful area of the countryside in rural Cork but with the benefit of easy access to Cork City (ranks in the Lonely Planet's top 10 cities of the world!). We're a lively, busy and friendly family who love to have people coming and going. We're always very keen to welcome someone equally friendly and enthusiastic to our home.

Help
We're happy to host 2-3 independent individuals who would do some gardening, outdoor tasks and tending to our orchard. We also require house/pet sitters at certain times for our two dogs and horse.
Accommodation is available in a newly converted loft apartment, adjacent to the house. We are a busy family who would prefer independent minded people who will be happy to take on their own adventures and look after themselves!

Accommodation
We have a newly converted loft apartment adjacent to the house, which will allow you privacy and independence. Contains two bedrooms, kitchen/living room and bathroom.
For pet sitting, the accommodation would be in the family home to keep the dogs company.
This is a rural location. We are 2km from the village and 6km from the nearest town. Bikes, of course, are available - you'd need to be fit! Occasionally, a car may be available for use.
What else ...
Sauna/cold plunge and wood-fired hot tub at your disposal.
