    Description

We are a young professional couple living in the picturesque Northern Rivers region of NSW, just 25 minutes from the vibrant town of Byron Bay and nestled in the beautiful hinterland. Our home is surrounded by lush forests, within a short drive to stunning waterfalls and hiking trails. We are only 10 minutes from the charming town of Mullumbimby and 20 minutes from the coastal surf town of Brunswick Heads.

Darius is a passionate filmmaker, and Phoebe is currently studying psychotherapy. Together, we are eager to share our space with like-minded individuals who are interested in sustainable, peaceful living and environmental regeneration.

    What You Can Expect:

A quiet and peaceful living environment with easy access to nature trails, waterfalls, beautiful beaches and nearby towns. We can support with transport sometimes but hitchhiking is also a very common and easy way to get around in our region.

Opportunities to learn about gardening, forest regeneration and noxious weeds relevant to this region.

A supportive atmosphere where you can share your skills and learn from ours.

If you are passionate about sustainable living, enjoy working outdoors, and are looking for a unique experience while contributing to meaningful projects, we would love to have you join us.

Our property is a large block with a house, and we need help with various projects:

Setting Up Veggie Gardens: We are working towards setting up a composting system, organic veggie garden and planting fruit trees. We would love to work with anyone with experience in this area!

Forest Regeneration: We are working on removing noxious weeds and replanting native species in and around our property. We always need help with weeding and clearing.

Landscaping: We are building pathways, gardens, and a fire pit around the house, and your help with these projects would be greatly appreciated.

We are also open to working with any areas of expertise you may have or projects/skills you wish to bring.

We offer a beautiful, light filled bedroom in our home. You would share a bathroom, kitchen and living space with us. We are happy to discuss how meals will work, but generally we will share a dinner meal every now and then, but not provide all meals (we can discuss shorter working days when meals are not provided). You will have kitchen and fridge space and access to all facilities.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

We live a peaceful and quiet life, studying and working from home so we expect you to respect and help maintain this peace. We can give you lifts to town when we are going (this is most days) and it is very easy and safe to hitch hike in our region. If you wish to get out and about a lot it would be good to have a vehicle.
