  Life in the mountains gives you a different perspective on things. Days feel quieter, the surroundings are beautiful, and there is more room to slow down and try something new.
  
  We are building a creative side to our hospitality project in Uttarakhand. We want to document the place, share stories about the region, and experiment with photography, videos and social media.
  
  We enjoy meeting people who are curious about the world and have interests of their own. You might be studying, travelling, learning a new skill or simply figuring out what you want to do next.
  
  You don't need to arrive with years of experience. An interest in creativity, a willingness to learn and the ability to work respectfully with others are a good place to start.
  
  We hope to create an environment where people can exchange ideas, try things they haven't done before and experience everyday life in the mountains.

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  Volunteers will experience the peaceful lifestyle of the Himalayan mountains while learning about Indian hospitality, marketing as a niche and local culture. They can improve their communication skills through language exchange with our team and guests from different states & countries.
  
  Depending on the season, volunteers may also learn basic gardening, planting, simple DIY projects, painting, and how a homestay operates on a day-to-day basis. They will enjoy homemade Indian food, explore nearby villages and hiking trails, and experience the traditions and natural beauty of the Kumaon region. We believe cultural exchange is about sharing skills, ideas, and experiences while learning from one another.

  We are exploring different ways to tell the story of our property and the surrounding region.
  
  Depending on your interests, activities may include photography, filming everyday moments, editing short videos, researching local places, and discussing ideas for social media content.
  
  We enjoy experimenting with different approaches, so there is room to suggest your own ideas and learn from one another.
  
  You might already know how to use a camera or edit videos, or you might be starting from scratch. What matters is being interested in the process and willing to contribute.
  
  We prefer a collaborative environment where everyone can communicate openly, share feedback and learn from each other's strengths.
  
  The specific activities, schedule, accommodation and compensation arrangements will be agreed upon before the stay. Any work connected to commercial marketing projects will be arranged transparently and in accordance with applicable requirements.

  Accommodation

  - Volunteers will stay in comfortable shared accommodation, creating a friendly and social atmosphere where everyone can connect and share experiences.
  - The rooms are clean, cozy, and equipped with comfortable beds, warm blankets, and beautiful views of the Himalayan mountains.
  - We provide three home-cooked meals a day, and volunteers are always welcome to join us for tea and conversations.
  - Living together is a great opportunity to meet people from different cultures, enjoy mountain life, and experience the warmth of a local homestay.
  - Wi-Fi, hot water, and basic facilities are available to ensure a comfortable stay.

  In your free time, you can explore Mukteshwar's hiking trails, forests, waterfalls, cafés, and viewpoints. Visit places like Mukteshwar Temple and Chauli Ki Jali, enjoy the peaceful mountain lifestyle, and experience the local culture. Public transport and taxis are easily available from Haldwani and Kathgodam.
