I'm an architect, I practice earth architecture and sustainable construction. I live in this town called Atina, and I'm trying to settle in this old country house, which is to renovate. There is a kitchen garden to mantain. Heating system goes with two wood stoves useful also to cook. Also there's a small local bamboo forest, with which I make some craftworks and light structures. We got some lands nearby, and in November we have olive harvest.

Help around the house
You will live in a peaceful town located in a less known Italy, discovering the traditions, enjoying the countryside, possibility of walks in the nature, and the surrounding mountains. You can learn something about natural building materials, like bamboo and earth. I have a small workshop under the house where I work with wood and bamboo.
Not far from Roma and Napoli
Land mantainance and agricultural help, renovation of the house (in this moment renovation of wood windows and painting walls with natural products. Some small mantainance of the rooftop structure).
This host offers a language exchange
I'd like to practice my Greek, I live in Greece years ago and I studied the language.
You'll have a room in the house. During summer possibility to camp outside. There is a wood stove for cooking.
Hot water in the bathroom is to bring with a soak.
The town is connected by some public bus lines, from Sora and Cassino, two of the biggest town thereabout.
Very beautiful to see it's the Posta Fibreno Lake, about 15 km away from Atina, and the National Park of Abruzzo, wich are the surrounding mountains. During summertime, all the villages around come alive with a lot of events and Festivals, like theatre Festival, or Literature Festival and Music Festivals, like Atina Jazz, while during low seasons you can enjoy more tranquillity.
