    We are Cle and Agano.
    Cle 38yrs -I am native maori of Aotearoa (New Zealand)
    My husband Agano 40yrs is Native Timorese. Timor Leste (East Timor)
    Learn hands on what it takes to create a piece of art to live in.

    If you Love the outdoors, natural building, learning and sharing we would love to hear from you!

    We need a hand with the following
    Cooking
    Cleaning
    Natural resourse collection
    Natural buiding preperations
    Glass bottle work
    Fire wood collection
    Garden preperation and mainternance
    Land scaping
    Summer is our busiest time of the year. The weather is perfect to get our hands dirty and do some natural building.
    Workshops will be on so you may be lucky if you arrive in time! January 1-31 2019. Let us know if you would like to come a bit earlier or stay a bit longer we may have a project on :)

    We are in the countryside and have fresh water creek and forrest to enjoy and relax in. We can pick you up from our nearest town Kaeo approx 15min if you have no vehicle no worries. We will probley be visiting the shops once or twice a week for supplies if you would like to come along. However you will need to have transport if you wish to get around in your free time.

    Collecting pebbles, clay, rocks for surrounding area
    Collecting recyclable materials and repurposing them for buildings
    Creating communal living space using tyre wall construction, glass bottle brick and bamboo walls.

    Making a small cob house
    Making hobbit house
    Making a cob fire pit
    Making a cob pizza oven

    Depending on when you arrive accommodation will be one of the following..

    We havn't got the first earthship inspired building up yet!(That is what we are working on this summer)

    A converted shipping container and pallet wood cabin with kitchen and bathroom
    OR
    A caravan
    OR a new school teepee or tent

    If your keen to come but all the accommodation is taken. You are welcome to bring your own camping gear and jam!

    There are outdoor showers,compost toilet and outdoor kitchen. Covered of course :) Enjoy warm summer evenings around the camp fire close to the river. Its a pretty spot!

    You may get the opportunity to experience indiginous marae (Our traditional meeting house)
    Or a hangi (indiginous food cooked in the ground)

    Breakfast:cereal,fruit,eggs toast
    Lunch: rice,vegetables,meat or fish
    Dinner: rice, noodles,vegetables meat or fish :)
